Some complaints.... The blue right arrow at 0:29 should be a late 16th. The freezes at 0:48 should definitely have more offbeat 8th arrows. Starting from 1:01, all of the right and left arrows should be swapped (double stepping). The cut is jarringly noticable at 1:18.

Also, I feel like the cut wasn't quite done well. Specifically, the 1:45 and 1:58 chunk should've been placed at 1:12 and the 1:18 - 1:45 chunk should've been placed at 1:01.

Otherwise, this chart is cool and I can't wait to test it for myself. :3

I don't dislike the song.

Chart is straightforward; nothing bad or exceptional about it. It's very held back so a in the future could be possible.

I agree with CuzcoBlocko on basically all of what he said. I kinda like the song, but I feel this could've been stepped a little bit better in some spots. Personally, I think the chart should've started 2 measures later than when it did. Also, what is with that very last freeze on the fade out?

Overall decent song and chart, looks like it would be fun to play. I don't want to sound like the crowd who always screams "TOO EASY PLS" but I think there's good potential for a chart here.

I already have a 15 footer chart for Dance All Night, I don't need another one. :P This one would probably be better anyway even if it was.

Anyway, I'm going to make the audio for this with the extended cut of DANCE ALL NIGHT I have so that simfile makers don't have to use the gameplay audio.

There is a problem with doing that though: The BPMs of the two songs are not the same.

I'm going to use the gameplay audio for now.

Anyone else think the expert chart is way too easy to be an 11?

Honestly, I did. I have no reason to believe that this is any harder than the single charts for classic NAOKI songs like B4U, BRILLIANT 2U, or 1998. Personally, it felt closer to a 9 than an 11. The chart overall just feels really empty. I can't help but feel that the song deserves better...

Yeah, it's maybe a 10 at most. I think the 11 only came from the use of the 16ths, which aren't even that tricky.
I've already made an edit that's like a 15. I can upload it to my category if you're interested.

Since this is only a preview, I think there's still the possibility of a once the final game is released.

i think the chart is pretty damn great
simple, not too simple. reminds me of something you'd find from MAX with all the freezes
gives me old school vibes, that chart
the song itself is actually pretty decent as well
probably one of Fujimori's better tracks to appear in post-X DDR

Yeah I agree with that, there's always a possibility. I mean, can't any song still receive a at any time? I mean, we got a lot of Challenge steps for songs that were around for as long as anyone can remember (like PARANOiA KCET ~clean mix~). And more recently, we got steps for ちくわパフェだよ☆CKP and めうめうぺったんたん！！just three months ago despite them being on the game for more than two and a half years.

And the use of 16ths here is still really minimal.

Even though I did make a edit already, I do enjoy the chart.

I do agree with Anonywolf's point to an extent. Not every song needs a chart. Certain songs have charts that are done well enough not to warrant anything harder. For example, HANDS IN THE AIR doesn't really need anything more (it's like a 12 realistically) neither do bass 2 bass or Do the Evolution. DANCE ALL NIGHT (DDR EDITION), on they other hand, has a little too much empty space where I didn't feel it was necessary plus a lot of other missing complex rhythms.

To be very honest, ちくわパフェだよ☆CKP and めうめうぺったんたん！！getting Challenge charts was a surprise to me when it happened, and it was indeed because while it was possible, I didn't feel like they were needed, like how AnonyWolf and you mentioned. I wasn't suggesting that the newer songs really needed harder charts. All I agreed upon was the possibility of them getting steps. Whether or not they do, I'm okay with that, although I still feel nonetheless that DANCE ALL NIGHT (DDR EDITION) looks way too empty, which was a bit of a shocker personally.

Who says the Challenge chart needs to be hard? A little 13 or so footer to go better with all that complex stuff going on in the song would be perfect. It's not like the song would become an A-Special and be locked at the Challenge difficulty if it got one. Play the Expert chart and all the other charts to your heart's content. Nothing would stop you. This has been gone over to death.

I'm sure there are plenty of other songs in the game, both old and new, that we can claim are "too easy" and need a chart too (1998 and Sakura Mirage come to mind for me). It's as if people are forgetting that getting high scores and showing off your skills isn't the entire point of the game.

Spoiler alert: it's all about having fun (no matter the difficulty).

Also, the new chart looks really fun IMO; in fact, you can probably dance all night to it if you really want to.
