Okay, this song officially kicks ass. I can't hear much of CHAOS in it but I don't care. Pure trippy heaven.

The remix name for this song makes me a little disappointed that dj Technorch didn't go this one.

I like it. But I do wish it was made by Technorch...

I don't need a remix of a song to sound exactly like the original. That feels a lot like pandering to nostalgia to me (which, admittedly, a lot of this event is just that) but if ARM stuck too heavily to CHAOS' mold then the remix would be boring and underwhelming. What ARM could have done, however, is make an actually good track and not the calamitous collection of sounds he threw together, with a few of them cribbed from CHAOS seemingly by coincidence.
I didn't need it to sound a whole lot like CHAOS, but I did want it to be bearable to sit through. Oh well. Nobody's forcing me to listen to it again so I'm finished throwing a tantrum.

I think it's safe to say that this is a great remix.
Pretty solid and nice for a 16 (and a 15, on Doubles).

About Chaos (remix) it's ok but the original is better and harder. It's good to see that some artist remixes Naoki songs in theses time.

I'm sure that the next will be a remix of MAX 300

I kinda feel like they didn't go for the most obvious song choices for remixes for the last two eras which makes me think that they might not go for a new MAX/Trip Machine/PARANOiA song for the next two. We also shouldn't forget that the very first song of the event was an original song (even if it did use some elements of OT"P") so there's no saying that the next two songs have to be remixes.

Well, I'll be honest: I liked the CHAOS remix, but it's not making me go crazy.
The song is good enough to be listenable on it's own (at least to me). I really like the fact that it sounds """futuristic""" of sorts while still having elements of CHAOS.
But even then, it isn't my favourite song in the event so far.
I'm not really a fan of ARM's music, but the song is decent enough that I like it.

I expected more 16th arrows. Overall, I think it's good. Might need a Challenge chart though.

Disappointed that it wasn't a Fascination remix, but this new track is still really good. I'd be shocked if it didn't get a Challenge chart at some point.

I think the Chaos remix is pretty cool but I feel like some people are shitting on it purely because ARM made it and some people are still angry that he made annoying weeaboo songs or something

I'm not surprised that Fascination wasn't remixed, because the way I think of it is that Fascination MAXX is a MAX song, that's actually what it was intended to be. I expected either CHAOS or Pluto to be remixed, but the original Pluto wasn't in the SN-SN2 folder so... yeah.

Love the remix, can't wait to play it.

I don't like the track because I just don't like the style of music. I think the template of high-pitched sounds combined with the appeal to trapstep and its uneasy mix with jungle-style percussion just doesn't gel well or sound like a cohesive, finished song. I also don't like how ARM panders to that kind of style. If anything, I think his weeb stuff sounds more coherent and professional than amateur-hour nonsense like the entire middle section of Come to Life and ARM's very loud adaptation of his style into DDR boss song-style music that is ENDYMION.
I think ARM has a lot of talent and it shows in his compositions, but I just can't stand how he arranges them into processed, techno-saturated messes like this. That's just how my preferences align. Some people consider the music I like to be ear rape, so I'm no authority on judging the objective quality of music. If you enjoyed the remix, enjoy it and don't worry about some asshole on the internet like me said about it.

There wasn't exactly a reaction given it wasn't unlocked like boss songs in every mix afterwards. You just expected the Encore Extra stage to be "Full combo or die". The fact Chaos had stops tho just made it a... "Oh, that's tricky." kind of reception. A reaction that quickly faded when CS version released and people learned it anyway. What also didn't help was SN was (the last) mix to have unlocks not based around events so everything was available.

He: "I love ENDYMION!"
Me: "Don't you know that ENDYMION song was also composed by ARM?"
He: "What?! I take back what I've said. Ewww."

Ah, my mistake. I just get a little wary whenever I disagree with certain decisions or opinions because I worry about the backlash, so I immediately leap to the defensive. I'm glad we are capable of coming to a civil disagreement, however.

Having now heard the lineout I can say that song is badass. I like it a lot, although I still like the original better. I really like ARM. Come to Life is probably my favorite song of DDR A with Endymion being really high up there as well.

No clue what the next song might be. Maybe a remix of SAKURA? Hell, I'll simply be happy with a new, actually hard, challenge chart for SAKURA.
