To be honest, I thought that the song I submitted for Round C had the potential for a heavy chart akin to that of MAKE IT BETTER or jam jam reggae. I will have to admit, though, that the submission I made for round E had a repetitive guitar part that restricted the song's ability to be stepped.

Fixed UTF problem in Natsuiro DIARY Original rough demo version. Go grab it there. And I added a custom zip just in case. ZIv's servers aren't capable of UTF characters.

How do you guys get the song titles to switch back and forth between Japanese and roman? I'm putting the Japanese as the title and the roman as the transliteration but this Unicode and ANSI stuff keeps coming up.

Save As, make sure the Encoding (to the right of "Save / Cancel") is set to anything other than ANSI.

UTF-8 is usually the only encoding setting that works for me whenever I'm using Japanese text or any other non-English characters. Try using that.

Vincentw, I have a question.

Is it possible to place files in the backup pile and then later pull them into the main shuffle?

Scenario 1: Let's say someone has a song they wanna submit for Round J, but then a better choice arises. The first song will be moved to the backup pile and the second song goes to Round J's normal shuffle. If the person later decides to want to see the song in the main shuffle (or runs out of ideas, lol), they can pull it out of the pile and place it into either Round K or Round L.

Scenario 2: Someone reserves when a file should be in the shuffle. I can send a skeleton for Round L and toss it in the backup pile, and if it doesn't already get picked up, it'll be in the shuffle for that round normally. Of course, if it gets picked up a couple hours before the deadline comes, it'll be risky and you might accidentally be discluded from the round, so it's best to make sure you can get a personal back file in for your reserved round before getting comfortable.

I don't need an answer to the question NOW, I'm just putting that there because it's something interesting I thought of. vincentw/Scarz can answer it when they're ready.

Just don't submit the file at all and then submit it at a later time?

Cuzco somehow I think you're the only one to even bother thinking of such a scenario. Don't overthink what you're submitting, just submit a song you like and that you'd want to step it yourself.

Uh, I'm sorry that I've not been able to update the sheets. See, Google and its services (that includes Drive and Sheets) are blocked in China. (I forgot that fact before going here; I was in Hong Kong several days earlier. I'll be back in a few days)
