Both of these happened on Saturday.

One, I took a video of playing roppongiEVOLVED ver. B S- (it's even my best record)

I took two other videos, but they weren't so great (D on Uranus S- and C on Paranoia D- )

Also cleared Kimono Princess S- and didn't get a video, as the camera wasn't in the room and I was about to get off.

sigh... Where do I even begin with my update?

I left NIU on Friday with 160~170 PFC AAA's under my belt... I came back with 216. So now I am sitting here still thinking... How the hell did this happen in one week?

Well let me break it down I guess to each day if I can even remember... I will NOT post all the pictures directly into this post. That would be insane. I will only post pictures to amazing Scores I feel the need to post the pics for... So on that note here we go!

As usual, Dr. D, you never fail to impress. Yeah, and on that 5p on Unreal... I can't quite get close to a PFC with all those streams of jumps let alone 5p on the thing. That's just nuts.

Okay, I got two today. For some reason my MA was awful awful awful awful today. I usually get half or fewer perfects than this, so I was either trying too hard or just too tired or just having a bad day, or that mysterious syncing glitch happened where the whole tune is shifted off-sync and I was just riding the Perfect window (I'm not convinced this is fully true yet but some of the other players in Japan complain about it), so I don't know.

I almost got Centaur on double (4 greats), Orion Civ Double (5 greats), Chikara Double (3 greats). No luck, but I should eventually be able to get them.

I only kind of wish Sakura Storm (any one of the versions/charts) was #1234 actually, but just because of the lyrics.

I played Unreal on single and double but really couldn't get anywhere with either of them. I can get solid AAs on them but the streams of jumps are very difficult for me. The ones on double are a bit more comfortable to me but the ones on single just don't agree with me. I do fine...get to one of those sections, get a whole mess of greats and misses, continue on...

Sakura Sunrise has them too but in much smaller chunks, so I was eventually able to get it.

Finally got to play DDR again after 7 weeks of my foot being injured . I finally got to play a copy of DDR X2 CS that someone lent to me. In my effort beat the Pluto the First extra stage, I PFC'd Dance Dance Revolution 5 times. Damn Pluto the First has so many random stops, on top of being offbeat, I've only gotten about 3/4 of the way through.
And dang Dr.D, nice PFC on Pluto! I've tried to work at it before, but I always drop a great or two on the slower parts. Not to mention that odd 8th arrow part in the middle of a freeze.

Okay, now that I am back home in a house that has power, let me see if I can't get these pics up.

Something funky is happening with eAmuse today, too. Konami's latest update broke some functionality of X2 (the side light panels didn't work on any machine) and on the 2nd last game when I PFCd Theory of Eternity on Basic Double (I actually PFCd all charts for Theory of Eternity Single/Double), my score wasn't there in the next game (I PFCd it again though, no biggie)

Somehow the heavens were on my side today as after some plays on the used SN2 machine not being able to get Extra Stage, I got Extra Stage today. And that wasn't it either; I got Encore Extra Stage today, and I passed it! This would be the first time I've played a full set of songs plus Extra Stages without failing. The songs that led to this were FI Jerk It Out -> ES Why Not -> EES Feelings Won't Fade (click to see each). All songs were on Basic.

And on a totally unrelated matter, I got Dragon Blade on Random on a previous session after I played Volcano.

I'm so proud of myself! I hope this happens more often and as I improve to higher difficulties.

So pretty much got some easy stuff. Both Jam Jam Reggae's are not necessarily easy because of the 16th's... But I hate the songs so I needed them out of the way for good. After The Game was a free AAA on my list so how could I resist?

And then on Thursday I decided to go back and finish my business I started. I had 219 AAA's and I wanted to leave with at least one... I left with three again...

None of the AAA's here were necessarily easy. Graduation I always fuck up on the gallops... Little Bitch is well known to be off-sync or not go with the song too well and 5.1.1. is just retarded. I must say I felt lucky that I got Little Bitch... Graduation was bound to happen and 5.1.1. I know a trick on. Instead of treating the gallops like they appear, act like they are in 16th trills or in a 16th stream. It makes the song actually very enjoyable and easy to AAA.

AND THEN on Saturday I decided to rape X2 once again.

After I got done with the AAA's today I left with my first 15 AAA'd (Unreal) which I felt SO happy about and I also left with Freeze AAA'd on Expert. That leaves ONLY TWO SONGS LEFT that I need to AAA in the X2 folder on Expert before the whole folder is AAA'd. What Will Come Of Me and deltaMAX are the last songs. I will never get deltaMAX playing on this machine, and if I get a lucky play I can possibly get What Will Come Of Me (its SO off-sync it's terrible. I can't believe they released the song the way it is).

So the total for this week is 11 new AAA's yay!

Really, What Will Come of Me is off-sync on the machine? I had no real problem with it here. If anything, Heatstroke was really really off here, anyways.

I'm guessing there are no unlocks on that machine yet?

Congrats on Unreal, though. I can't get anywhere with the jump streams. Many others have no real problem with it but I can't seem to combo it let alone PFC those jump stream parts much at all.

Nothing new from my front since I haven't had a chance to play much. I almost got Roppongi B (again) but got 4 greats right near the end...ugh.
