Anyways, a few things I noticed...
As noted, the stages are "updated" in many ways. The "Party" one has sparkling lights and the disco balls are glowing, the stage with the giant speakers has the speakers blowing out yellow beats with every step, and the "street" stages has a cool lens-flare thing added.
One thing I noticed as well was that when playing Trigger for my special Final Stage song, I was taken to the stage with the big screen. But it had a sort-of orange "flare" to it, almost as if it were evening time in the stage. Kinda cool, but I can't remember if that happened in the US version...
Once again, you cannot edit the Xmixes.
Unlike the AC game, playing shock arrow charts still takes you to that "stormy" background.

Eh, HVAM isn't a boss song. As been stated before, hard != boss song necessarily. Trim definitely wasn't a boss song, Faxx et al are the boss songs. If the mix has "red" songs, then those are without a doubt the boss songs. If the songs were special, i.e. Extra Stage/Final stage only, they are boss songs. Songs that are normally available without meaning any special requirements are usually regular songs, except for 4th/+/5th mix, as they didn't have any special way of accessing songs besides operator codes.

ACTUALLY, the SEVEN 6th mix preview songs were all in one section(the blue songs). it had been so long since i played it that i had forgotten about these.
centre of the heart
on the jazz
nori nori nori
look to the sky
dive(MDADS)
do it right
HVAM
being lumped in like that, sure you can argue its a CS song since it debuted there, but its clearly in the 6th mix previews.
