So I wound up going to the arcade today and put another $40 into the machine. Went in at 7 and got out at 10:30. I had a real good time and I wound up battling some guy that knew what he was doing. He beat me at my own song So he and I started to talk for a bit in between songs and getting to know each other and stuff. He's a pretty cool guy and one that I wouldn't mind playing some ddr with.

Then he said that he plays ITG.

In other news, I saw Avatar yesterday and it is literally the best movie I've seen all year.

Well, it depends on the way you look at it.

If you're a kld, and the snow causes a school cancellation, the snow would be a gift of the gods.

If you drive to work everyday and the road gets closed because of the slipperiness, it would be a product of satan, unless you really hate your job and hate going to work everyday.

The only bad things about snow are the slipperiness and cleaning it up along the sidewalk and driveway.

Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny for the PSP is sooooo much fun. I especially love when Gauntlet Mode gives me instructions that don't work.

Ok this goes to people who know alot of the 360 (I don't know jackshit about Xbox so bare with me)

Should I get the 360 Elite or the Modern Warfare 2 Edition? What games should I get for it (I'm planning to get Left 4 Dead, maybe AC2, maybe Team Fortress 2, & maybe the next DDR game) Buy the wireless adapter for it? etc. Any advice, ideas, etc?

System: Get whichever one has a larger hard drive. When I first got mine, it came with a 20Gig hard drive, and I used that shit up QUICK...Then again, I rip a lot of CDs on my 360. As for games...

Shooters

Left 4 Dead - Fun shit, but a definite teamwork game. Don't be "that asshole" who runs off without the rest of his team.
Fallout 3 - Like an RPG fused with a shooting game. Lets you choose between good/evil.
Borderlands - Like Fallout 3, but without the good/evil aspect and it adds online co-op.
Mass Effect - Think Star Wars, but a lot more firearm-oriented. Also does the good/evil thing like Fallout 3.

Fighting

Soul Calibur IV - Cut people. With swords. I need more people to fight, Goddamnit.
BlazBlue - Think Guilty Gear, but with slightly more comical characters. Also, GIGANTIC TIGGER.
Tekken 6 - Like Soul Calibur, but without weapons.

APPEND: Also, I hear The Orange Box and the Modern Warfare games are good, but I haven't played them myself.

@ Pyro: If you like shooters, go for Modern Warfare 2, online is the best, Spec Ops is a bitch unless you have another person with you, but even so, it is still a bitch to get through, and single player is pretty basic, things blow up, you shoot the enemy (or civilians?) and plot twists AWAY!



...but i prefer online >_>.

Get the MW2 edition. It has a 250GB hard drive (compared to 120GB for the Elite). My suggestions for games pretty much match Zukin-Man's, but I personally suggest Street Fighter IV and Fable II. Besides, you also get CoD: MW2 with that 360. Buy the wireless adapter ($79 for the Wireless-G version, $99 for the Wireless-N version) only if you cannot run an ethernet cable from a router to the console.

If you want racing games, I'd suggest PGR4 and Grid. Saint's Row 2's great as well.

Need For Speed Shift is good as well, much better than both ProStreet and Undercover.

Releasing my techno album in an hour and thirty-three minutes. Also, Need For Speed's series is generally good.

Need For Speed Pro Street was bad, but Undercover was decent. It wasn't OMG GREAT but for what it was, it was decent. Need For Speed Shift is the best in the series IMO.
