...i dont think that many arcade owner will do this. They'll buy upgrade because it cost so much less (or they already did).
And upgrade on europeen version is still NOT fixed right ? :/

For those who cannot help with my request here, please do not post. I do not want to be rude.

It is recommended that players of DDR that have access to arcade cabinet of DDR X 2 wherein all of its songs and courses are completely unlocked have a video camera and record the part of the song selection interface containing the title of the song, starting from the first song then switching to the next song after around 0.5 to 1 second until the last song is reached.

And note them down the list of songs and post it in this forum for me .

I hope this is clear to the ones concerned. Thank you in advance to those who will help me obtain this information.

There are plenty of vids in youtube with that stuff.

Still no upgrade kit. Someone would have to import a Japanese or Asian kit for an pre-SuperNOVA cabinet to do that. And even then it would most likely be completely locked.


The only thing still wrong with the Betson cabinets now are the pads, which fail and malfunction far too easily. There's also been reports of cross-wiring.

@PanStyle, the European upgrade drift bug has no fix issued yet.

In France we have 3 or 4 X2 all upgraded from an X1(EU). And it sucks.

The decicab maybe but i was talking about the upgraded EU version. Which have a drift issue (Al made a huge topic about this).

Yeah sure but X3 will be out in... december, in japan. That means maybe 2013 for europeen people.

Played the X2 in the Las Vegas in London.

All I'm going to say is I REALLY miss SuperNOVA now, heck even Fusion was better than this crap. At least they were more or less in-sync.

It's ironic that I've seen 10 year old EuroMIX2 cabinets that still run well and are perfectly playable and in-sync.

OK. My problem about list of songs under series title "DDR X 2" in its original order has been solved and songs that were not carried from DDR supernova 2 to DDR X 1 but carried from editions of DDR earlier than supernova 2 to DDR X 2 have been solved. Thank you for those who have helped me with this.

For the chinese versions, play the challenge charts of the songs. On gameplay, you should now be playing the chinese version.

Yes, it will still sound japanese in the song wheel, but trust me.

Weird!! On the X2 machine here, it opens on SUPER EUROBEAT (GOLD MIX), and these songs:


...appear between Bonafide Lovin' and HERO, and these:


...appear between CAPTAIN JACK and someday...

I'll see if I can recreate the order of the tracklist on our machine. BTW, songs in older titles with raw-Japanese titles (or ones that begin with JP names) are put in ABC order after the english titles. So "Flowers," for instance, is listed in the JP-titled songs under HANA RANMAN.

Also: GOLD RUSH randomly picks between the three of them; although that may depend on what stage you play it on.

Here's the track order in the arcade where I'm at goes, I've highlighted the differences so they're easier to spot. TBH, I have no idea WHY they would be different, or how to change said order besides maybe editing the data on the master tracklist, but why bother with that, either?


...and I was always wondering if there was a roppongi EVOLVED selector that randomly picks a version, that explains where that's at. (And that's part of what makes the EVOLVEDs so fun!! SM needs a rough equivalent of that, haha! I wonder if making each version only playable on different stages would do something that...)
