i do know that are a lot songs that were removed DONT have anything to do with contract issues. (Like most of the removals in DDR X) Like midnite blaze or Hyptonic Crisis. But, what about all the songs Argue Phine sung in? All those were removed from all BEMANI games. Unless if the sound director really hates her songs. (I dislike End of the Century, though.)

HYPNOTIC CRISIS last AC appearance was in DS EuroMIX2. In the main DDR AC line was removed in DDRMAX and it was never revived.

All tracks from 5th Mix were cut from DDRMAX, so it's moreso a matter of what was revived and what wasn't. Most of the signature Konami Originals were brought back, but others were just forgotten, especially in the case of Beatmania crossovers. The best example of this I can think of would be the situation with 'Put Your Faith In Me (Jazzy Groove)' and 'Make It Better (So Real Mix)': Neither of these tracks were revived for MAX2 or EXTREME, for some odd reason. It wasn't until 2nd Mix Mode on DDRX3 when they were brought back, so it seems like the tracks were forgotten instead of any other case.

When the sound directors stop sitting on their asses and do something about Make A Jam. At least they brought bass 2 bass, Poochie and my favorite, Into the Blue...finally.

True. Naoki talked about it in one of the reviews with DDR Hottest Party Charcter Rena. It went like this:
Rena: What is your fondest memory?
Naoki: LET THEM MOVE *self-destruct*
Rena: Y-You're gonna blow up here?

Nah, probably the sound directors think kind lady ain't popular enough as Naoki songs and those 18 footers...

But wasn't BeforU under 2 diffrent labels for a while? Or is that at the same time Konami still owned them? I know konami still owned the rights to their songs when BeForU was under the AVEX label. But what about when BeForU was under Gambit? That was when KONAMIX removed most of their songs in all BEMANI games. i do know that are a lot songs that were removed DONT have anything to do with contract issues. As Catastrophe said, Konami owned all of the BeForU stuff done while they were employed by Konami. BeForU leaving probably made Konami decide--of their own volition--that they didn't want to keep their stuff. Perhaps it was spite. I don't know. It definitely, 100%, was not contractual.

Trust me when I say that you can take Catastrophe's word as gospel. He has been around since the beginning, and is practically an encyclopedia. I am very skeptical of anyone in the community saying "facts", but Catastrophe is one of very few that I know will only say something that he knows is true.

Ok then. I always though it was Gambit that owned the BeForu songs when they were removed because they wanted to spite Konami (don't ask why). But otherwise, none of the Konami Orginals that are removed or remade probably doesn't have anything to do with contracts and stuff like that user said. (Unless if it's Dynamite Rave but nowI know its probably isn't the case and more like in the case when Brilliant 2U was remade for FuruFuruParty.)

Funny story about Let Them Move. A long time ago there was a poll on ddrfreak asking players to vote on the Konami Originals in DDR. Since DDR was only up to 5th Mix, there weren't many choices. Everyone could cast 5 likes and 5 dislikes. The results of the poll were going to be used to force Sota to remix whatever we wanted. We voted for Dynamite Rave #1 and Drop the Bomb #2. (I don't think Do It Right was #3. I'd be surprised if it beat B4U or Paranoia. The poll results are long gone.) Most of the songs got no votes. For example Silent Hill was 0 likes / 3 dislikes or something. It's a good song, but not memorable enough to make anyone's top 5 or bottom 5. Even Dynamite Rave was like 140/30 or something if I remember correctly. (Trolls.) But one song had drastically more dislikes than likes: Let Them Move. It had as about as many dislikes as the winners had likes.

DDR MAX was still a year out, so Jason Enos (a marketing guy and community manager for DDR) begged KOJ to make something, anything, for KOA to ship in 2001 because he was afraid that DDR would lose momentum if it took a year off. Hence, Konamix. Then the results of this poll came in. Mr. Enos requested that Let Them Move be dropped from the game because we had such specific hatred of it. KOJ said no. (Then he told us that KOJ put the song in the game despite our poll and he got in trouble for throwing KOJ under the bus. Then he told us that too. What a boss.) Anyways, Konamix was the last time anyone ever heard Let Them Move.

Make a Jam - this is a funny story that I don't know. So it's an old U1 song, his oldest, and it has been gone forever. Most of U1's old songs are gone, whatever. Someone on twitter asked him to revive it and he gave a short reply saying that it would be "difficult" to do so. Like is it offsync? Does it use unapproved samples? (It samples the old Konami jingle.) What did he mean? Then it appears in Reflec Beat Groovin Upper. And it still has its U U D D L R L R chart. I want to know who did that!

"Yo dawg, I heard you like DDR..."
Since it's pinned, we might as well post it here.

There is a story circulating on Reddit, and now on many FB pages, that Dave & Buster's has secured cabinets to bring DDR 2015 to at least half of their locations.

And they will be equipped with e-Amusement.

It's looking like this will be a Summer 2016 introduction.

Hopefully these won't be crappy localized cabinets like the Betson SN/SN2 cabinets or the Raw Thrillz X/X2 cabinets.
