DanceDanceRevolution Dance Wars (iOS) (US)

Here's what I did:

1) Get other e-mail account you want to use to get the Invite Bonus. Start by accessing the e-mail provider/mailbox of that account on your iOS device.

2) Go to Dance Wars. Go to 'Candidates', hit 'Invite your Friends', hit 'Invite friends' tab, hit 'Email'

3) E-mail the account you want to use.

4) Access the mailbox and select the mail that has the invite. Select it and it should re-direct you to the GREE.net page for Dance Wars.

*NOTE* IF you are doing this multiple times, the browser will recognize that you already have the game installed. Just clear your cache/cookies/browsing history and it should remedy this issue.

5) Hit 'Log In'. Then either select 'Sign in with Facebook' or simply input the username, e-mail address, and password you want to use to log into the game.

6) Once that is done a confirmation e-mail is sent to that e-mail, simply find it (if you can't find it look for it under 'Junk/Spam' on your mailbox), select the link, and it should be set.

7) Go back to Dance Wars, scroll all the way to the Left until you get to the 'My Page' menu (Where you see the News, Item, Inbox, etc.), tap on the upper-left corner (which it should be a 'Return' symbol), you should now be at the Intro Splash to Dance Wars.

8) Hit 'LogOut' on the bottom-right hand corner. Now, hit 'Log In', input the e-mail and password, and continue through with the game. COMPLETE ALL THE TUTORIALS (meaning you have to go through the Mission and Battle Tutorials) and it should give you the Invite Bonus.

9) Go back to the Intro Splash page, hit Log Out, sign in to your main account, Tap screen to continue, check Inbox to see if 'New!!" word flashes next to it, select it, select the Item tab on the upper-right hand corner, Invite Bonus get.

That should be it, if it's not working for you, then I really don't know what to do from there. They probably fixed it the first time you get it, but not multiple times afterwards (or rather it just doesn't count). However I did notice that when I hit the 'Play Now' button on the Intro Splash (without logging in to any account), I noticed that it had ALL the other accounts I made to select from, and then the option to just Play Now, so this is why I am thinking that it's by individual iDevice that counts towards your Invited friends counter, and not simply by the other accounts you have on your own iDevice.

You lost me at Email (step 2). I was looking at that, and it said "Couldn't launch mailer. Please make sure that an email account has been set up." Was there a confirmation mail registering for Gree that I completely spaced off or something...? Figured I'd've activated it but hmm... the other ones seem to work if I connect the account but Email would be the most useful.

It should be this:



Hit the Email button and it should get you to a window where you type the e-mail address of the other account, hit 'Send' and then check for the Invite e-mail using the other account whether it's Yahoo, Gmail, AOL, Live, etc.

Are you using an e-mail account when playing Dance Wars? Are you playing through Facebook or by some other method? If anything just PM me and I'll see what's up.

Is anybody else getting a message saying to try again later when you click to verify the account? The first four times were fine but the fifth time told me to try again later repeatedly. Kind of annoying since I was so close to getting Your Angel.

I'm pretty convinced at this point that I won't be able to unlock the rest of the songs. Between the drifting timing and random non responsive jumps, it's just not gonna happen.

Alright I've done 5 invites, but I just got another GIGABURGER, so I'm going to go ahead and say the invite system is BROKEN.

Edit: Great now my profile is ruined, I can no longer load Free Play.

How did this happen, Brazen?

I think its a bug with the unlock

Yup, got 'Your Angel' as well, and the counter is back to normal (if it ever was normal), it now shows that I have 7 friends currently playing. Sweet.

Anyway, not sure about that 'Free Play' glitch, I was able to access mine just fine, played Your Angel on Expert and everything :/

My other half managed to get Your Angel fine, mine is bugged. Hope KONAMI can fix it, just submitted a ticket.

Well its about damn time. Although setting up them fake accounts is going to be overly tedious.

Does anyone know if the Fair Play booster has any effect on guards? That would make a previously useless item one of the most powerful and it should be a thing. xP I've always wondered about the "weakens the effect" part as opposed to "cancels trap." It has 15 levels (guessing, like the other equips), and it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to say "oh look, 1/15th of the screen is now more visible, rejoice!"

Or maybe Konami is a jerk and you need 100% Fair Play and three crew members with it to cancel out the trap. xP

I do have all skills upgraded to level 15 (Fair Play being the last) for two weeks (Maybe longer?), and I think it does affect traps only. I don't know yet, but I will try it out to see if FAIR PLAY does affect guards. That is, as soon I'm done with the rest of the school day.

Also, since when were there Crew updates for... everything? xD; Guess it's cool to know when people summon and play the battle with me.
