jubeat plus / jukebeat (iOS/Android)

Yeah I pretty much bought the Suikoden pack knowing the dahaca song would be on it.

So it seems jukebeat is now getting the KONAMI related packs. I assume jukebeat will also get the Quiz Magic Academy pack and Resonance of Steel pack in the future.

I hope we get the other bemani album artist packs like AGEHA (Water Horizon!)

Seeing that the official jukebeat page liked my comment of "Can't wait for the reflec beat and jubeat crossover packs" in reference to their post about Reflec Beat+ it seems likely.

Not sure where to put this, but jubeat has released a version for certain Android devices!

I'm sorta jealous because there's an UVERWORLD pack with their relatively new single, "THE OVER".

How is this guy playing on a Samsung phone?

As long as you have a strong enough phone with a 9:16 screen, you can play it provided you have the APK.

Oh, ok. I thought you meant it only worked for Xperia devices, not anything else.

It's supposed to be like that, but only Google Play checks for your phone version. The package itself doesn't. So if you have the APK then you can install it.

I even installed it on my Galaxy Y phone. Unsurprisingly, it can't run.

So even if this was a universal Android release...many people would still get left out if their device can't run it...

I feel this is why Konami is reluctant to make ports of bemani games outside of iOS.

Pretty much why most developers make apps for Android like a year later or more or even not make apps for Android at all. And despite many people owning Android devices over iOS, The number of users willing to pay for apps/inapps on iOS are much higher than on Android. Recenlty, Japan is pretty much an iOS nation.

I can also sense why Konami released jubeat plus specifically on Sony Android devices aside from getting licenses from Sony's music division.

Because of the high sales of Apple and Samsung worldwide, Japanese electronics struggled really badly especially Sony, Panasonic, and Sharp. With this move, Sony might earn some profits back.

I've tried this (I mean jubeat plus for Android) from random guy and I managed to get the the settings that iOS one dont have.
Will post it after I upload the pictures.

Setting Screen (jubeat plus for Android)
This is the setting menu. Dont understand what it write..


Touch Area setting
This setting is compensate Android devices that only support max 5 fingers.


Descision Timing setting
This setting makes the timers more flexible because the diversity of Android devices.

I'm sure the timing adjustment option will be added to iOS version in a later update.

Why would they add this? They can easily adjust for whatever timing issues arise on every iOS device they support without forcing this on the user.

So that users can personally change it to their liking...duh!

But that's like saying Konami's timing is off? iOS devices' timing is all the same, no need to adjust timing.

That's like saying the arcade version needs to have a timing option, it doesn't make sense.
