Aina Lahellani
S-: OK, but not that interesting, and probably too hard for a 5'.
S-: Really nice chart (no surprises though), but I wish you'd used some of the instrumental rhythms and not so much the vocal rhythms.
Boten Anna
S-: After the stop, things got much better. Needs a couple more crossovers.
S-: Not too bad, but sometimes those triplets were a little iffy about being on the audible rhythm. I knew exactly where the stop/BPM change was, and it was still really hard to hit
Forogj Vilag
Ahahaha you cut the song before the last step. Also, I'd really like some better quality on this song, it's cool.
S-: Doublesteps resulting from the copypasta, but otherwise, it's kind of a Mellow-esque chart and fits fine, even if it is a bit boring.
S-: Well, OK, I'm taking it you want this to be an ITG-ready chart. In that respect, it's pretty good all around, patterns and rhythm both.
Ich bin wieder hier
S-: Not really different enough from the S- chart, but still fun. More 9'-ish than 8'-ish.
S-: Super fun. It's a lower 10' than PARANOiA Survivor S-, in my opinion, but it's very 10-esque. The different rhythms and the placement really worked together well.
Komplikasi (Cape Deh)
S-: A very nice companion chart to S-.
S-: This chart made me wake up and actually have to concentrate. That is one tricky nine-footer. But not in a bad way! I'm pleased.
Missa Miehet Ratsastaa
S-: Interesting to see how different this was from the S- chart. I still think the S- is better, but this chart is no slouch.
S-: Appropriate levels of stomp. Gallops greatly appreciated. Spins a nice touch. Pretty much amazing.
Rosa Helikopter
S-: Copypasta, etc.
S-: Haha, I like this in some twisted, non-bracketing way. I was surprised you put hands where you did instead of mines, but it's a nice touch.
Seduccion
S-: Crossovers at this speed are probably too much for a 5', but the rest is really good, both placement- and rhythm-wise.
S-: It's been a while since I played a six-footer I liked that much...which makes me think it's probably a low 7' In any case, sexy chart.
Tunak Tunak Tun (V)
S-: All along, watch me pumping your retard, and you fill me with tar, at your party laying bears.
S-: In your yard, I am a Ferengi man, fairly odd and chunky.
My votes:
Missa Miehet Ratsastaa - 3 pts.
Ich bin wieder hier - 2 pts.
Seduccion - 1 pt. (Only beat out Tunak Tunak Tun after comparing S-.)

Hey, would it be alright if I submitted a file that I already put up on Z-i-V? I changed all of the charts but the Challenge chart. I only tweaked that one, so it's a bit different, but hardly noticeable.

Sweet, thanks man.
Heaven or Hell / 44teru-k
3/5/7/10/13
BPM: 35-460
The challenge chart is a tweaked version of the edit difficulty from the original stepchart, while all the others are different. I was never able to play the edit chart when I tried to download the song myself to see how it came out downloaded, so just in case anyone had the same problem (if they downloaded it) and was too lazy to put it in another SM file as a challenge chart or something, then there ya go kin of,it's just a bit harder.

Next week will be the FINAL WEEK! Make a song that describes the end of summer or a grand finale. Make your final song as epic as can be.
Hmm, seems like a hard category. So we still can't use long versions or DDR edits for this? =P
Well, not like I've submitted much for this anyway haha... I'll probably just ask you if my song's OK in the chat later.
Oh, and we should point out which simfiles are the winners in the simfile comments or the first post. I don't think too many people will want to flip through the entire topic to see which ones got chosen!

I forgot to vote, so my song is DQ
anyway
1st Missa Miehet Ratsastaa - 6
2nd Ich bin wieder hier - 4
3rd Seduccion - 3
Voting for boss week can begin
This is it, the final week to submit songs. this is well FINAL WEEK. Find a conclusive song. one more final song to show what you got.
Also some people have gave me this idea. After this week, get all of the 1st , 2nd and 3rd song winners and have one final vote. the winner will be the Summer simfile of the year. (Still can't vote for your own) I want to know what you all think about this idea?

Good idea.
My picks for this week:
1st Eraser Engine Distorted - 3
2nd Seiran Hirou - 2
3rd Prohibition of World - 1
For me, it was really close between Seiran Hirou, Prohibition of world, and Self vs Self.

It seems so wrong and unfair to vote for just one from even that pool of simfiles, so what about picking a few (like seven or so), then picking out the best from that?Post #796 · Posted at 2010-08-17 09:01:16am 13.8 years ago

I have most of the chart in mind since 1 year now. I decided to work on it 3 days ago (i do a little bit every day).
I think i'll only make D- for now because it's the chart i had in mind.
Telperion (or anyone interested in doublezz) could you test it when i'll be done ? (it will be a 10 with lot of crossovers)

yes PLEASE.
APPEND:
Cry! Roar!!
S-: Definitely bossy. Faster than PARANOiA ~HADES~, and more confusing...maybe too much.
S-: Much more reasonable, but really rather fast for an 11' (I'm a decent 11-foot chart player, and those crossovers and jump patterns would kill me).
Dream Chaser
S-: Mostly 8th runs. Eventually got a bit boring, even with the short triplet sections and the jumpfreeze strings.
S-: Feels like NGO, but slightly weirder (if that's even possible).
Gaussian Mist
uh-oh, double thirteens?
S-: Considering I cannot pass this on index, I'd actually uprate this chart to at least a 14'. That said, it's quite properly bossy, and would trigger gag reflexes on ITG and DDR players alike
S-: Had to check that I wasn't playing S- again. Mostly the same, but felt a bit more reasonable. Still makes me wonder if this is the illegitimate child of Trim and on the bounce.
Heaven or Hell
Love the song choice.
S-: Afronova walking on ### BPM 16ths is lethal, especially when I had to read it slow because of the 460 BPM spike.
S-: Definitely higher than a 10', maybe even edging out of 11' territory. But it was a fun chart, very Vdim-ish.
LASER CRUSTER
S-: Doublesteps. And no, I did find the intentional spins, don't worry. I guarantee there weren't over two dozen of them, though.
S-: Hello Across the nightmare. Well, OK, I'm being a bit mean, but it was still a bit doublesteppy for having so many quarter runs.
prohibition of world
This > sista)nightTrans
S-: I, um...wow, that was an extremely voltage-driven boss chart. Pretty involved placement, good density.
S-: The problem with this song is that it's very restrictive in the variety of charts you can pull out of it. This one wasn't different enough from S- to make much noise.
Seikan Hikou
S-: It's a low 10', but just doesn't feel like it was meant to be hard. The patterns and placement are too tame somehow.
S-: Mostly the same criticism as the S-. I like it in its own right though.
Self vs Self (ft. In Flames)
What happened to Pendulum T_T
S-: It's kind of funny how much this reminds me of certain Pump charts. Blaze Emotion CZ, that PXNDX song with the really long title CZ... It's good though. Kind of new-gen, SWAI-ish.
S-: Solid 8-footer. Good placement, especially the fun jumps.
The Disappearance of Hatsune Miku
S-: Awfully predictable for a 13'. More like an 11' with fail-at-end triplet/16th runs.
S-: Much more palatable. The triplet runs in the end make so much more sense that way.
S-edit: lol no.
My votes:
prohibition of world - 3 pts.
Self vs Self (ft. In Flames) - 2 pts.
Heaven or Hell - 1 pt.
Totals:
ERaSeR EnGinE DistorteD - 4
prohibition of world - 4
Seikan Hikou - 4
Cry! Roar!! - 3
Self vs Self (ft. In Flames) - 2
Heaven or Hell - 1
