All licensed from Dance ManiaX 2nd mix are quite good to be DDR songs. I like Cat's Eye (Ventura Mix), Romance no Kamisama appear again.

Famous licenses and original songs will make up a total of over 60 songs. 20 or more songs will be licenses
.
More about this:
There hasn't been over 20 new licenses in a DDR Arcade game since DDR MAX. So, either Konami is gonna pull another SuperNOVA2 and give us a lot of KOs as license songs...or they actually found a good place to license music from! Let's hope for the latter

Let's count how many songs if all old songs + DDR SN1, DDR SN2 and DDR X . I think more than 500 songs on DDR X arcade.

Nah, SN2 only has about 360 songs on it. So, if they keep all the songs from SN2 AC, we'll have somewhere between 420-430 songs on this game.

I was gonna go count them manually again, but then I remembered about the game database X)
SN2 JP has 357 songs.
Now I'm not sure about that rumor on losing BeForU songs, but that would involve:
Both Baby's Tears
Break Down
Candy heart
Chikara
Dive (more deep & deeper mix)
Dive to the night
ever snow
Firefly
Freedom
Himawari
Honey Punch
Love Shine
Love Love Sugar
Morning Glory
both Trues
Under the Sky
(18 songs total)

Hmm.. first thing I thought after seeing the interface is DDR: Happy SKy
I'm guessing when it's 4:3 it's just gonna crop off the sides. I think it looks kinda empty on widescreen, but if this doesn't turn out to be the final interface screen, then I'm sure it's gonna look a lot nicer.

I haven't heard anything more on the BeForU songs situation, so I'm assuming they are still there.
New ratings before I go to bed
AA
6/9/12
A stupid Barber
4/7/9
Sana Morette Ne Ente
4/7/11
Keep on Liftin
4/6/7
Time Hollow
4/6/7
Let the Beat Hit em' (Classic R&B Style)
4/6/8
All are SP and are in the B/D/E format.
P.S. Seriously, I hate how 2ch people write the songs xD. Some are written romanized, some are written in katakana, both of which are fine. But then they translate some of them into Japanese and it's hard to tell what they are. Like they had "Baka Tokoya" and I was like "...?"
Then it dawned on me. "Oh! A Stupid Barber!"

DDR: Happy Sky? LOL.
I do not like those graphics against that background. Maybe they'll change to look more like DistorteD (and the next game could have a gold theme)?
Also, where's the number next to the foot meter? I really hope it's there.

Dynamite Rave SEV is one of my favorites in all of DDR.
Dynamite Rave Down Bird Sota mix is just bad.
Fixed. Well, I don't know if I'd call SEV a favorite, but it's my favorite Dynamite Rave mix.Dynamite Rave Down Bird Sota mix is just bad.

lol congratz on 1111 posts, Pie
And I really hope that they don't take out the BeForU songs... I mean, aren't they still a group even though all but 1 left and 3 more new ones came in?

Er....are you sure "truly global" is referring to the console games? I remember it just being used for the UK announcement in reference to the name change to "DDR". I mean, it's not like they're going to put every AC song on the CS, right? I mean, obviously the Japanese CS game will have all (or most) of the new Arcade songs, but there's no indication that Konami is changing their age-old trends with the American games. If anything, the confirmation of switch, stealth, Poseidon, and TimeHollow indicates that they are going in the same direction.

I suggest splitting the article in two. One for the AC, the other for the US CS. It's too confusing and cluttered as it is.
If the arcade is going to be global (same songs in Japan, America and Europe) and there's going to be USB connectivity between the console and the arcade THEY HAD BETTER mimic the soundtracks all the way across the board. Because if the USB thing only works for 20 out of 70 songs then that's retarded.
If either of you find a reliable press release or news source that says the two are going to have different songs I'll do the split. But going by Wikipedia policy (Oh, don't you just love that word?) There's several sources (Some being Konami themselves) claiming it's the exact same game and none claiming it's separate games.

Added the what ... 350+ songs from SN2 onto the DDR X list so I don't have to manually ever do that again.
Plus more difficulties added there.

If it's any support, Taren over at AIJ plans on cracking their edit format like he's done for the older games. For instance, there's a program for editing PSX memcard data so you can get edits for any song on Extreme. The annoying part was getting the hardware to save your memcard to the PC and back, but now there's USB slots...Post #794 · Posted at 2008-07-18 06:38:41pm 16.9 years ago

If you're talking about the Game Database. Only X games will use the new scale.Post #795 · Posted at 2008-07-18 06:45:05pm 16.9 years ago

That's probably best. Over the years you'll want to gradually, move all the songs in the DDRX (and later?) categories to their new ratings.
It'll take a few years before DDR X ratings will be more prevalent than old ratings, so if you converted one song a day for the next year or so, you'd be done with a year or more to go.
