you're looking at this very negatively. have you guys ever thought that you might be getting a direct import of SN2 (like the Japanese) and/or the Arcade characters? think of that for a minute!
And you know what? I'm so envious of Japan! They got a direct import of the arcade program plus most of the good arcade songs! Like seriously, why is Konami ignoring the N.A. and Europe! Do they think we are not hard core players of DDR? Konami has made really poor decisions. The only 2 good things they have done in 2 years is release the N.A. SN2 before Japan (which later turned out they got a better game than N.A.) and release e-amuse for the states (NO CANADA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ...well yet). It has a slow adoption rate as well. In conclusion, Konami should clean up their act and treat N.A. and Europe equal to Japan!
btw: i forgot to tell people this but it is odd that e-amuse was released about a week or two after I sent a really long letter Konami about why we should have e-amuse!

The CS division needs a slap. They never seem to get a Pro Evo game out late, I hate this football frenzy country. XD |

Well duh, but that doesn't give them the right to piss off a part of their fan base does it? If they pulled something like that in the US, I bet you guys won't be happy either.
And KKiONI, we are quite aware we can import. We're just annoyed about why does it take an entire year after the American release for literally the same game to come out. I might demand some explanations later this week.

We can import, but that'd mean shelling out extra for the privilege of playing NTSC games on our PAL PS2s...and I'm not exactly made of money/willing to slice open my PS2.

Well, they have licences for sponsors and the use of a real commentator, but that's about it...

Problem is, Konami doesn't have a license or something to produce popular sports games.XD |
Right right, but the point I'm trying to get across is if KONAMI delayed a DDR game for no acceptable reason at all in America, you wouldn't be happy either.

And 2008 + 90 = 2098.
2098 =/= 9999.
Still, they have an excuse, and it's one that I think they'll hide behind every time - translation.

Haha, oh dear. It's not like it's a Final Fantasy game. Given the amount of text in the game, everything could be translated in about three days maximum. Unless the translators were doing it ten words per day...
We'll see soon.

Either that, or the translators were learning each language, one at a time, looked at their watches, realised that they had one month to go before supposed release, then announced a delay, so they can put "mega-popular" licences in (i.e. Soulja Boy and The Crazy Frog's Axel F).

Ah. I see what you did there. But anyway, the delay could mean something! We might get 15-20 licences. We might get some extra KOs, to compensate for already getting the SN online songs.
...though more likely, we're getting an NA CS rehash.

Wow, talking about DS SuperNOVA 2? I would like if Europe Konami put some nice licences just like DDR SuperNOVA 2 Japan. Why Konami in Europe very difficult to get those licenses? And why they dosn't want give me some old DanceMania licences ? They think that licenses in Japan releases doesn't sound good to European audience or some songs are too girlie sound ( Nori Nori Nori, Baby Love Me, Follow Me for example)? Come on, I would like to see Da Capo, Toxic (FT edit Company), Give me Up, Golden Sky, Switch, Stealth, Me Against The Music , etc in DS SuperNOVA 2 PS2. Just don't give me awful licences that not from any DDR Arcade ( i hate DS SuperNOVA PS2 licences very much, because that songs sound horrible and some songs are UnDanceable) . I think get old DanceMania licences are more cheaply than get non DanceMania licences because that song has been already released in DDR Japan . Anybody agree with my idea?

Getting old Dancemania licenses maybe a good idea, we never actually got SO DEEP in any console Dancing Stages; but obtaining an European license for the song could be quite expensive now seeing KONAMI has seemingly let the EMI contract expire.
Everyone has noticed the lack of Dancemania in newer DDR AC games, but I agree, we need more danceable dance/club/happy hardcore tracks from people like Fracus, Darwin, Scott Brown, Gammer, Cascada and others.

Also, Konami are a bit backward with their view of the American/European audience. They think that the main reason their games sell over in these areas are the licences, as they're what drag new players in. If they replaced them with Dancemania/not-as-popular licences, you'd see a drop in new players.

DS SuperNOVA licenses were considered very popular? DDR SuperNOVA had the better selection of licenses IMO...
Trance and dance tunes would work on a European audience too. They got Paul van Dyk and Armin van Buuren and we didn't get one that even comes close.

Hm... I wonder what the different Japanese audience between USA/ European audience ? Is that true if some USA/ European audience not interested or maybe absolutely don't care for some Japanese licences because that songs sound no good or not updated or not so popular? What genre music USA/ European audience prefer? Eurobeat like ParaPara , Heavy Techno, R&B, Pop or Trance?
