I kinda want to say that I never had a problem with the DDR2013 style screen filters (After playing with this theme a bit... okay a lot)

I did however come across a weird problem if you try to play in Singles as player 2 though...

Specifically the music select screen looks like this

Everything still works fine though I can select songs, and go into modifiers. It's just a weird problem to have.

Other than that though I'm really enjoying this theme.

Working on replacing some of the files in the sound folder with higher quality ones.
I also recommend you use .ogg for some of the files like "_Door.mp3" since most of the time, mp3's clip some of the audio and tend to have random noise especially with short clips.

Here's some of the things I've done:
HQ Menu music
HQ ScreenMovie bg movie
HQ ScreenMove bg audio
New door close sound

It also contains all of the sound effects from ddr 2013 so if you need anything, it's there.
Also, you'll have to use Moo0 Audio Converter to convert the wav files in se_normal to a proper audio file.

I can also get you the announcer sounds for the stage names also since they're a bit distorted.

That's the exact same problem I was having and I thought it was just the mega download garbling a part of the data or something! This is a rather critical weakness, considering a lot of people play on the numpad (which is usually P2) since it feels more correct. Having a theme that's primarily 1 player (a.k.a. DDR 2013) is a bit odd but workable, but a theme that doesn't work on a specific side is an issue that probably is going to require some significant rewrites.

Thank you for your contribution. We'll look into the sound part of the theme a bit later but it's a welcome addition!

As for the progress, I'm currently revamping the ScreenSelectMusic graphics so the next release will have a new look.

Will you guys add the E-amuse system into the theme? I'm just asking

I'm trying to use my 2013 theme to make a 2014 theme and riskofsoundingnerdy gave me permission to use his codes, it's like an code import, but currently I don't have enough time to fix some bugs, but I'm on it .

Hey guys,

I'm really sorry about not posting but I've been trying to limit my posts to when I do updates or people have things that need fixing.

Meanwhile, in the next update:
- Course mode
- Fixed 2P error
- Random BG stuff from DDR NG
- Graphic improvements (just received a new set of graphics for ScreenSelectMusic from pkwp)
- Updated sounds (thanks to you guys)
I'm fairly sure that's everything. Things like e-amuse style screens will come later after people are happy with the rest of the theme.

The update will be posted sometime within the next week, I've just been finalising some things.

Would that even be possible? I know the cut-ins worked for Stepmania 4 since it had Toasty and that's how they were enabled.
Does Stepmania 5 have anyway to do this?
