It might be my ITG nostalgia kicking in but VerTex² is possibly my favorite official ITG song. I found this song when I played ITG for the very first time and it was unlike any song I've herd before it. It really gave me the idea what kind of new music I was going to see on ITG. How this song just sets an atmosphere yet still sounding like a boss song has always wow'd me. I guess it's just a PandyX thing but VerTex ² is a song I'll never forget. I haven't heard "Don't Lie" in over 6 years. I completely forgot about it. What a bad move on my part. This song gives me goosebumps from start to finish, and I dare say that it's one of the best songs this band has ever done. Period. And it makes me sad that they decided to steer away from this direction to make the electronic slop you heard on "The E.N.D." and "The Beginning" (although, to be fair, "The Beginning" wasn't AS bad as "The E.N.D.").
