Necromancing this thread due to MAJOR CHANGES TO THE GAME GRUMPS.

Jon Jafari is semi-leaving the Game Grumps in order to commit more of his time to make more JonTron videos.

So what are your opinions on this sudden change? To me, Jon is a vital part of Game Grumps, but to be fairly honest, I didn't expect them to really keep going for YEARS AND YEARS until one of them pretty much says 'know what, I gotta do something more outside of Game Grumps', and in this case, Jon took the bite, but it's a good thing since he is now dedicating more time to his channel while Arin is still doing Game Grumps, not really focusing on his animations and the sort. All in all though, so far it's not bad, Dan has some shoes to fill but he's pretty funny with Arin, plus he fucking beasts in this game. While most everyone (the same people who complained to Jon to do more JonTron) are pretty much disliking this movement, it's kind of their fault for putting pressure on Jon to do more of his videos so, congrats guys, you did it.

No one can say that he's dedicating his time on jontron or other future projects until he actually releases his projects.

I'm one of the few that dislikes jon's banter and his need to repeat arin's jokes when he laughs at them. I look forward to seeing Game Grump.

It was handled extremely poorly. If Jon was leaving there should've been a transitional phase to ease us into Danny. The way they did it felt extremely disrespectful to Jon, like they thought people wouldn't care that much and would accept Danny right off the bat. Danny isn't too bad but I don't think he's very funny and it doesn't feel like Game Grumps with him, it feels like a generic let's play. The energy feels like it's all gone and its just dry remarks about the game they're playing. I'll stick with it for for awhile but I'm not optimistic.

And fuck Steam Train with a rusty hacksaw. I'm not even remotely interested in what those two have to say.

I'm sad that Jontron decided to go back to his own show. Now I'll never see how Sonic 06 ends. Man there must be a few vids besides Sonic 06 that are left incomplete.

This is loosely Game Grumps related since it involves the status of JonTron.

A status update has been issued informing fans that new JonTron episodes are coming, but no confirmed release date at the moment.

I'm glad to know that there is still some info regarding Jon's absence despite setting release dates, and hyping fans since he left Game Grumps, but I know he's going to do great, and hope to see an episode soon. I could literally wait forever for a new episode and it would probably be amazing.

I loved that episode. Since I last posted in this thread, I've warmed up to Danny a lot, and even the Danny+Ross duo in Steam Train, which I was sure I'd forever hate. I take back what I said about them.

Also, so nice of Jon to quit game grumps so that he could focus all of his time and energy on putting out videos at the same exact rate as he did before he left.

I watched that and I watched Ross and Danny fail at Oregon Trail.

I laughed hard last night.

I didn't realize there was a thread for this channel. I personally think that the content is improving a bit since Jon's departure. I haven't watched that much now due to school and such, but I feel like Arin and Danny make a better duo, though I do like Jon and Arin about as much too. These two really makes me laugh after a hard days work!

Everyone likes Danny.

It took me about 2 videos to warm up to the guy.

I'm one of those people that can have both.

Jon started putting some content up a few months after the deal and he's still churning them out about the same rate he was before. I think they're both great people but I don't think that Arin and Jon were as good at riffing off each other at the same time as playing as Danny has in Jon's place. That's not to say there weren't some really funny parts, though...especially during Sonic '06. My god.

I'm going to mention the Drakkhen one-off as probably one of my favorites when Jon was still in. To be honest, I was quite disappointed when he left at first, mostly seeing as how Sonic '06 wouldn't be finished without him, and it was a point that they were really close to beating it (at the time of the last episode, there was only the last Iblis fight and the last stage left AFAIK). I had trouble adjusting to Steam Train because of the first few episodes, but now I've exhibited a renewed interest in New Grumps because Danny and Ross are quite fun, and the addition of four-way VS games in the form of Steam Rolled got me as well. One of these days I want a special episode in which Jon and Danny attempt to sing each other off or something

It didn't take long for me to warm up to Danny. I think Danny is doing a fine job. I even like Steam Train, especially the Leisure Suit Larry episodes (Batman on the phone anyone LOL) Steam Train should do more Leisure Suit Larry games, hell I even enjoyed Steam Rolled (Stream Trains' Game Grump Vs.) on Fortune Street. The only thing I'm disappointed was they didn't 100% complete SMW, but then again they did skip levels in SMB2 and SMB3.

They finished up WoF (again) today.

I was watching compilations of Game Grumps animated and during the 3rd Compilation we see someone playing a Game Grump simfile on oITG on their DDR machine. What I want to know is where can I find this simfile? I did a search here on Z-i-V but I couldn't find it.
