Okay I nearly fell out of my chair when I saw this. I don't want to wake my suitemates, but "GAHHHHHHHHH!!!!! OMG THIS IS SO EXCITING!!!!"
Sorry about my crazy moment there.
Anyway, I really can't wait to see the interface. I just HOPE that the characters will be included with new costumes and everything, they were what got me into DDR from the beginning.
Well so be it. If it costs like $80 for it then I would still buy it. Why? Because I love DDR that much.
Same here, but if they make it that way, they HAVE to stop making Wii releases and start making good PS3/360 releases. My goodness, this is great news(hopefully). Maybe Konami really did need a year off before releasing a new CS game, there might be some hope.
I like Pink!!!! And yes, please no more jun boss songs. I like Jun and all, but she really needs to stick to stuff like True Love and Happy Angel.

HECK YEAH
even though I sort of hate that banner and its kiddie rainbow colors. Can't knock the theme until I see it in-game, though.
I hope we get new character designs this time.
Except, like with X2 and just before X3, I gotta wonder "aggh is Zero going to be hot or creepy in this mix."

However, if they make the theme pink, they should make it more like IIDX EMPRESS or it will look as if 5 year old girls designed the interface.

Nope. My guess is they're resetting the name the same way they did with the Wii titles. This should thoroughly confuse people right? Just like the renaming of the series on the Wii confused people. If this comes to the states as DanceDanceRevolution, though, this may help people recognize the brand again. Either way, all speculation aside, with no Naoki around this time what will they do for KO fillers?

I am hoping for good BEMANI crossover songs in this one because X and X3 had very few songs (though X3 was being flexible with its crossover songs) compared to X2, which was composed of mostly beatmania IIDX crossovers. Hopefully, they would deliver us not only that and some good songs but also special/e-amusement events and a very nice extra stage system. Though it is only in its testing stage, we'll just see how things work out for this game. (/hypemode)

I was actually kind of surprised they wanted to use that title for a game that is going to be available first on Japan. Makes me wonder what the title names of the Wii versions would be if the arcade version gets a console release or something close to it.

There is a slight difference Silverhawke, that one time over at the X3 AC thread it REALLY got out of hand.This debating or theorization or whatever you want to call it is simply for curiosity purposes as well as just basically trying to decipher and see what the hell the game is going to be all about. This is VERY typical when new DDR/BEMANI games come out, and I honestly don't mind, it sure as hell beats having to sit back and not post something at all.
Glad it wasn't like the X3 tumblr page(s).
So new DDR that's simply "DDR". Hm...
