Got right before the mission, invited you twice, and you didn't join. Don't know if the invites didn't go through or if you ignored them.
Also, I've had the glitch where your skill points respec twice. It never happens when you want it to.

On another note, I finished the "get to know jack" mission with my Siren class on True Vault Hunter mode with RoG
Yeah that 5th echo log was the first one I got this time, that mission is, for some reason, permanently glitched on my Mechromancer class and my Siren's Normal Mode

Don't know how many of you are part of that Shift thing found in the Extras menu, but there's some codes out for free "spooky Halloween skins" they're just crappy black/yellow insect-themed skins
Maya - WJC3T - SS6S5 - X9FTF - WRTB3 - BT39H
Salvador - WTK33 - HFR95 - RZRJX - KRBB3 - CZ3KF
Axton - KBKBT - WH6Z5 - X96B6 - WX3TJ - 5J6J3
Zer0 - 5J53B - J96HW - F96HW F9FBX - CFTT3 - FTFXS
Gaige - WTKTJ - 696S5 - R9RB6 - 5RTT3 - BTS3H
I think they expire on Nov. 4, so no worries if you can't get to them immediately, but don't put it off for too long.

They expire November 4th at 11:55 CST (time change occurs that day).
I decided to start my Gunzerker and Siren runs this week...I'm thinking of running Maya as a medic.

No, I think I started off typing the third segment then my eyes wandered to the second segment and I finished typing that, THEN I started typing the actual third segment. Couldn't just C&P it either, because I was on the IE app for Xbox, and I was just typing the codes from a sticky note I'd written off and brought to my console earlier.
But yeah, Exor posted the right one.
Anyway, I finally beat that stupid Hyperius superboss jerk. Solo'd him too.
Kinda.
I only had my main character doing the actual work, but there were a few times where I ran out of ammo, and there is NO way to refill while you're in his arena, so I had to sign on a dummy account with a Salvador I had pre-prepared with a Hoarder mod to regenerate team ammo so I could refill, then log him out and continue fighting.
Also beat Master Gee, the second superboss, but that was because I cheesed him out. Seriously, it's just dickish to put a puzzle boss that can kill you in one hit, has minions that kill you in two, and even if/when you figure out HOW to beat him, you have to wait for his health to drain out and run from him the rest of the time.
Don't even know if I got any good drops from him, either. I saw online that loads of people were having issues with their games freezing up after defeating him, and sure enough, when his life got really low, my framerate was dropping quite a bit. As soon as I saw the checkmark saying that I beat him, I paused it and Save/Quit on the spot. I'll worry about drops and Seraph Crystals next time.
Speaking of Seraph Crystals, they're complete bullshit. You can only fight the bosses once a day, Hyperius only dropped six crystals when I beat him, and the cheapest thing available in that store is fifty crystals while everything else is 120. Most of the items aren't even that good, either.
Good call on that one, Gearbox.

Only "Bee" costume I liked was Maya's.
Woulda been cool it they were all different colors instead of all black/yellow, but that's fine. Gearbox needs to fix the issues with hacking and the problems people have with logon respecs and BA rank depletion.

New patch just went out for PC. No word on when it hits consoles, but you better enjoy The Bee while you can.
To note:
- Fixed an issue causing players to sometimes crash or freeze after killing Master Gee in the Captain Scarlett DLC.
- Added a confirmation dialog when opening the golden chest in Sanctuary.
- Fixed a bug that could sometimes cause players' skill points to be reset when loading their character.
- Fixed bug causing Tediore reloads to get Amplify shield damage bonuses for each round remaining in the clip.
- Amplify damage from Amplify Shields is now divided among all projectiles fired from a single shot.
- Balance adjustments to "The Bee":
--- Increased Recharge Delay
--- Significantly increased Recharge Rate
--- Reduced Amplify damage
- DLC raid bosses no longer drop Seraph crystals in Normal Mode.
- Reduced level of DLC raid bosses in Normal Mode.
- Fixed issue resulting in infinite leveling exploit with Fleshstick.
- Increased the health of Terramorphous, Willhelm, and Blue.
So they increase Terra's health, but they also nerf the crap out of The Bee. Gearbox really doesn't want people to solo him, do they? Oh, maybe they want us to beat him by grouping up with randoms online BECAUSE THATS WORKED SO WELL SO FAR
Also, if you've been power-leveling with Flesh-Stick, you better get that shit done before the patch appears on consoles. I plan on finishing up my last character either tonight or tomorrow.

The newest DLC, Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt, is fucking awful. I can't remember the last time I've been this disappointed with a DLC.
Main Storyline
For those who have been following the news, it was already a bit of a shock to hear that the main storyline of Hammerlock's DLC was only going to be about five missions long. However, when the fans were reassured that those few missions were "lengthy", some of us were inclined to give the story a chance.
I beat it in an hour and twenty minutes. That includes sitting through the intro video and getting lost for 10-15 minutes in the second or third mission. Obviously, Gearbox and I have radically different opinions on what the word "lengthy" means.
Side Quests
The side quests took significantly longer to complete than the main quest, but not for the right reasons.
Most of the side quests were the same crap we've seen for a while. Go here, kill this, come back, gather ECHO recordings, humorous dialogue, turn in. In most cases, you'd be right. With the exception of two side quests, most of them were the same cookie-cutter quests we've been seeing. Blazed through the rest of them in about an hour or two. Two missions really take the cake though.
Egg On Your Face: So there's an enemy returning from Borderlands 1 called Drifters. If you played BL1 (specifically the General Knoxx DLC), you remember Drifters, giant spider-like creatures that tower over you and you shoot them from below to hit their weak spots. Now you have a mission to collect 23 Drifter eggs.
Common sense would say that you need to kill Drifters to get Drifter eggs. The objective locator on the mini-map even covers the entire area basically telling you that you can find these eggs anywhere. This is incorrect. Instead, you have to find them in fixed locations around the map. Oh, and because the objective locator covers the whole map, it won't give you any locations. You have to find each one by manually looking with your eyes.
Once you get 23 eggs, you have to kill the uniquely-named Drifter that's been laying them because she's apparently pissed. It's easy enough in theory. Go to the objective area (which has now shrunk to the small area where you actually fight the creature) and finish off Mom. Unfortunately, there's several places in this DLC where some areas overlap with other areas on the map. This can cause you to go to where the objective locator tells you where to go, only to find out that you need to backtrack and find another way to get to the same spot, but fifty feet lower or higher. Of course the map won't tell you this, because that would be too easy.
I Like My Monsters Rare: So if you were going for the "complete level 1 of all challenges" achievement, or if you just tried to hammer out the challenges anyway, what was your favorite challenge to level up? That's right, the one for finding Jimmy Jenkins! [/absurdly obnoxious sarcasm tag] Yes, nothing was more fun than playing through the same stupid section of Opportunity or the Wildlife Exploitation Reserve, opening the same stupid boxes a thousand times, and reloading the game whenever you didn't get Jimmy and his atrociously-low spawn rate to pop out of any of the many boxes you opened.
Guess what, now you get to do the same thing with other enemies! Five of them! Each of them more than once! Yeah, there are now five different rare enemy spawns you have to fulfill, and to further twist the knife, you have to fight each of them anywhere from four to eight times.
Remember when I said it took me an hour or two to complete most of the other side quests? This quest alone took me seven hours of getting to a certain area with specific enemies, saving, killing everything around me, reloading, and repeating the process. Gearbox, this is not a respectable way to increase playtime on your game.
Then again, you don't really need my respect since you already have my money. You could shit on some electronic coding and serve it to me because I was stupid enough to pay for it ahead of time.
Items
No surprise, new unique items from quests and new Seraph items from the Seraph vendor.
Also no surprise, every new item I've seen sucks. One of the named enemies from a side quest had a weapon called Sir Hammerlock's Elephant Gun, which was basically the same thing as the elephant gun from the first game (sniper rifle, slightly above average power, no scope). I picked it up, tried it on one or two enemies, and sold it.
Most of the Seraph items are (still) pretty lackluster. Most notably, the new Seraph relic. In the last two DLCs, the "of the Seraphs" relics (Blood of the Seraphs, Might of the Seraphs) actually had some use for certain character builds and situations. However, the new Breath of the Seraphs relic gives you a great increase to attack damage and high health regeneration...after getting Second Wind. Basically, you have to let yourself get almost killed to get any kind of use out of the new relic. Wonderful new addition to the Seraph relic family.
As for the new heads, well...You know what I liked about the Mister Torgue DLC? You could buy all of the customization items from the vendor with any character. During one playthrough with one character, you could buy the custom heads for every character in the game and the other characters would never have to touch the DLC. Not so much this time around. Like the Captain Scarlet DLC, you have to play through the entire DLC to get a custom head for your current character class. Meaning, if you have a least one of every character like me, you have to play through this trash a total of five times to complete your head list.
Level Cap Increase
lol no
Nice try, but there is none.
Overiew
So we have a short, un-fun, enemy-farming DLC with confusing maps and useless weapons. At least when BL1 released the also un-fun Mad Moxxi's Underdome DLC, it came with an item bank to give players another place to store large numbers of items so it wasn't a total loss. Unfortunately, Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt doesn't have that same benefit...or any benefit that as far as I can tell. I don't even want to play this thing the other four times to get the heads for the other characters, so I essentially paid to get a custom head for my Gaige and that's about it.
At this point, we've got one DLC left in the Season Pass and my expectations are incredibly low. One DLC has been pretty good, one has been mediocre, and one has been ungodly. I fully expect the last DLC to be incredibly uninspired and unenjoyable. I also expect the level cap increase and item bank increase (if we're even getting one) to be paid DLCs completely separate from the Season Pass. Call it pessimism, but I call it a realistic expectation.

Yeah, same here honestly...
For some reason, I don't seem to see any sort of level cap increase in any of the Season Pass DLCs
(I heard there was going to be more DLCs after the Season pass DLCs. Can anyone confirm this?)

Because there hasn't been one. Gearbox confirmed a level cap increase this year, but didn't give any more clarification as to when, meaning it could even potentially show up in Dec 2013.

(I heard there was going to be more DLCs after the Season pass DLCs. Can anyone confirm this?)
Only other DLC that's been confirmed is a head and skin pack coming out on the 22nd, but they still haven't even said if it's going to be free, cost money, or be part of the Season Pass.
