Send a PM to al2k4 with a name for your category, it can be called pretty much anything you want. Once you get it, then you can upload your own work there.

This is why I avoid uploading simfiles on this website. It is populated by mostly children, therefore, there is a lot of childish "but its mine and I made it and dont want you using it" going on. You are using Konami's music in the first place, so not a single one of you has the right to bitch. Its not like he is saying your work was his. Get over it please and grow up.

To that extent, no one has a right to complain since the simfiles are not made with music made under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial license.
However, people have the right to complain about the other aspects of the simfile, such as the graphics, and sm.file information (offset, bpm, steps, etc)
Even the graphics can be argued against because people do or do not use stock images or create things from scratch.
Personally, I'd be flattered if someone were to "steal" my sync/offset info.

That is my point, entirely. If someone is claiming that the simfile they have they made from scratch, and everything is there own, that is a problem. If I download a simfile, I always assume that the images and banners are copy pasted anyway, unless they specifically mention otherwise.
The point of the rule is to stop people from blatantly saying they created something they didnt, and its getting abused like crazy. Its obvious that this guy meant no harm, and was just giving us the arcade steps. He even said the simfile was hooky's.
