Very well...The logo looks too big, the"DDR Part" is too small compared to the STARLIGHT design.//

I agree with you on that but it's very difficult to make the DDR logo bigger and make it work with STARLIGHT.

I was going to make several more concepts and ask for a vote but I'm not sure if it would have made a difference. Obviously I can't please everyone but alot find this logo eyegasmic AFAIK.

You're not going to get the full effect until you see what we plan to DO with the logo. Also, the DDR logo on the top is just there for effect, the arrangement of things will differ in actual presentation. We're going to reveal more as time goes on, but we're not going to show you everything. Not even close to it. All the really good stuff will be revealed through the actual release. ;)

and regarding your other concept for the logo, i would quite like to see the warped one with a straight edge on the top, i think it might look interesting and also give you a nice place to put the ddr logo

How about we leave the "Official" "Song pack" up to Silber and Aeron, and we can have our own little community pack. That way, we don't have to bother this thread about songs and stuff. I'm totally down with the auditions idea, though. It would make sense for something as lovely as this. If this idea floats well with Silber and Aeron then I say we create a thread that deals with this topic if they don't do it themselves. I just want to see this thread stay clean so no one gets upset.

All things considered, I agree with this. We don't want everyone to just submit simfiles willy-nilly without regards to its quality, so keeping them in a "community pack" might be the best idea.
Though, having two people doing the entire "official" "song pack" and theme and graphics might be a bit excessive, so, if it's okay with our two themers, we could send the best of the "community pack" to them and help them out that way.
I smell a simfile contest coming on...

Then again, we're not even sure if they want to have a song pack for this theme, so this could all be just moot point.

I'll still do music cuts.

Why just not the theme? This isn't supposed to be a full game.

The theme comes first. If there is a pack, work on it won't start until after the theme has been finalized and released. Right now, there is no public release date but there is a time frame we're shooting for.
