Not that everyone has theirs jailbroken, but the folders from DDR S+ do work in the game. Of course the banners don't fit but at least you can play older songs in the new game in the case of S+ being taken away completely. But I'm so glad I'm not the only one that thinks the step charts suck and that it's offsync. I asked Chewi about it earlier and wasn't sure if it was me or not.

Okay so DDR Freedom sucks. What I'm more worried about is if Konami is going to keep coming out with DDR S+ DLC--especially X2 AC songs, which most average players won't really even see--even with this "game" out.

The S+ song packs use album art in their Store incarnations; I wonder if they have the album art data in the download, which would then allow proper "banners" when porting to Freedom? I hope the "early submission of an alpha build" theory is right, since otherwise it looks like the QA department at KONAMI is about as sharp as a circle.

I can go ahead and do a quick look for you if you'd like. I didn't think about the album art being in the store but it sure would help out. I ran into a bug with the song that I forgot to mention. The game won't load the other pages for the extra songs. I think I just need to refresh the song list file thing.

So in my searches of DDR Freedom's App I've found something interesting, I found image files for what appear to be some kind of internet friend leaderboard. I'm sure it's a no-brainer but I thought it was interesting.

Also I fixed that bug with my S+ songs not fully loading. Just reinstalled the app and started fresh.

Also, the reviews have been bad, the song list is pretty bad IMO. Looks nothing but another DDR S with crap music.

So, is no one seriously considering that this is an accidentally release alpha/beta build as mentioned a few pages ago, just from reading all of your input, I can't imagine it being anything else...

Thank heavens, I thought the stepchart dumbness was just on my side...

I'm sure with a few updates it'll be better, but I'm still not buying it.

The game with its 4 songs is FREE, extra songs aren't.

Buying meaning getting the other songs. I don't like the music choice KONAMI uses in the DDR games anymore.
I miss the older ones with all the KONAMI and BEMANI originals.

im gonna go ahead and say konami are probably just autogenning/Dancing monkeys'ing the charts nowadays for this... and not even bothering to fix the engine

I have both S and S+. Honestly, the songs are so expensive to buy -_-
