Hmmm, as expected, KoJ is still unpredictable. I didn't think that jubeat Plus would be such a 'surprise'; I guess our interpretation of 'surprise' is quite different from KoJ's. Anyways, the only true surprise that we got was the announcement of the reproduction of the beatmaniaIIDX KOCs; that is rather hopeful news...even on the page, it says something along the lines of "response to everyone's desires", so my next prediction is that beatmaniaIIDX® 17 SIRIUS CS has a chance of being released in Q3 2011.
The KOCs are being reproduced...surely not for just EMPRESS+PREMIUM BEST.

My hopes wouldn't be too high about SIRIUS CS. I still think they're just gonna release another Premium Best or something. Has Konami themselves explicitly stated that the next IIDX will be a SIRIUS port? (no pun intended) I believe Naoki has just been saying "CS IIDX" instead of "CS SIRIUS" in his tweets.

They used to only state CS IIDX when they were doing the score data collection for the RIVAL stuff but it was clear on those webpages which style it was going to be for due to the colours and theme style. We will know for sure if they do score data collection again.

Just a random idea I had while reading this thread: if the game is postponed until next year, the time frame opens up another possibility considering their pattern of releases: SIRIUS+RESORT ANTHEM 2-Disc Set

That works too I guess. The OST for Resort Anthem should come out in mid-February so hopefully Score Data collection can start by March then.

I haven't lost all hope for beatmaniaIIDX 17 SIRIUS CS, I still have hope. Actually, I won't begin to lose hope unless nothing else is said about the game between Dec 2010 and Feb 2011.Surely the KOCs are being reproduced, so why not give people incentive to buy one (or more) of them by announcing SIRIUS CS sometime before the KOC release?
UPDATE: Konami has responded once again!!
It was stated, "Similar to 7th (style)'s case, we are definitely looking forward to considering making SIRIUS CS".
^: This is great news! I really hope that their final decision is in our favor! Man, this is making me so nervous...to think Konami really turned their back on the CS releases of beatmaniaIIDX once again. We all await the final decision. PLEASE KONAMI, PLEASE CONTINUE THE beatmaniaIIDX CS line!!

Still unpredictable, but then again, I just recently heard some strange rumor. Anyways, hopefully, this "truth" will be revealed pretty soon; my prediction still stands----Final decision before KOC re-release, which feels around late January~February.

I really hope PS2. I don't want to go out an buy a Japanese PS3 and IIDX controller just for one game.
