It's funny how Konami announces a fourth DDR for the Wii, when they haven't released the PS3 or XBOX 360 versions yet.

...which'll probably be as easy as the previous three games.

Japan is probably prohibiting them from releasing any new information as DDR X2 AC is not even out yet, but that's a pure guess.

...that's...not a bad assumption

If this holds true then pretty much the PS3 version is an instant port off of DDR X2 AC

First vid! Well, sorta... Wish more footage was shown. But what I saw looked great. And I think the routine I saw corresponded to the actions required from the player. Perhaps this is Choreography Mode, then.

What a letdown Konami. No trailer, no preliminary list, no nothing. And don't give me the X2 excuse either as that just doesn't cut it. Does that Dance Masters really matter that much to them? WTF??

Be thankful they AT LEAST have a page for DDR Wii and we found a second DDR page in Konami's E3 site, hell they even MENTIONED that more news will come even AFTER E3...we just have to wait a couple of days or weeks for it to pop up >_>

why is anyone surprised that we didn't get much info at E3?

konami knows that the press doesn't care that much about DDR, so yeah, just be thankful that a page is up and we have screenshots.

Every other year we at least got SOMETHING, whether it was a trailer, or at the minimum a preliminary list of songs based off of what was present. This year, we got neither.

Then again, it's a bit different this year, as DDR can't really be marketed as a dance game anymore since Just Dance kicked it's ass all over the map. Still can't shake the question of whethef this game is gonna be any good this year, especially with their Kinect focus this year...

I'm sure bemanistyle will have media up as soon as they write their E3 report.

Motion-based games are popular right now even to the casual and general audiences. DanceDance games after twelve years are only popular to a niche audience. Guess where the development money is going? Stepping on an arrow on the ground just got severely antiquated.

Yep, Konami keeps tweeting that more news is coming really soon so I'm not worried. darknight, I know you were disappointed as I was, but seriously, your thoughts of doubting the game's quality THIS early (especially in light of last year's performance) is really premature.
