When will they officially annouce new DDR?

For the theme, I'd like something similar to SN2 or Extreme 2 (I loved their somewhat metallic interface).

I have no particular demands in the songlist, just don't include any non-danceable songs (Open, Suddenly I see, etc.) and
have more works by other bemani artists like in SN2.

Bring back Thomas Howard/Solo/HP announcer as the next announcer.

That's off the top of my head right now.

It's maybe the new mod of the next ps2 release, ahaha. (yeah FFX-2 is overall too bad, even there is good idea...).

If i'm Konami, the next release will not be "DDR X something". DDR X is for the ten years of DDR, this should be a unique arcade. The next should be something else. I think it's not SuperNova3, because too much people have this in mind "SuperNova -> bad charts" Maybe DDR Casino ? xD

What i want in the next release ?
I don't really know, i have to play DDR X in France before...

But i have somes ideas :
- more 9's/10's (i mean 13/14/15 for DDRX rating)
- better rates cause there is some mistakes i think :
(CAN'T STOP FALLIN' IN LOVE (SPEED MIX) is a 12 like I'll Make Love To You or MAKE IT BETTER ?
But i thing the rate for 14's to 18's is not bad.)
- more crazy mods (modifiers), like itg.
- show the bpm of the song when you select your speedmod, like itg.
- still a lot of different musical style (like ddrx)
- a wordwide ranking who nerver ends (not like drill course or whatever where you have one month to play and after the ranking is over).
- A better utilisation of shock arrows. Come on, why put this on the 4 panel at the same time ? There is a lot of good things to do if you can put only 1 (or more) mine(s) at a time. But if they do this, they should change the aparence of the shock arrows (and the name). If not, the player won't see a lot of diference beetween the good and evil arrows (oh evil arrow, that's sweet xD).
- An announcer who speak LESS (or an option to put him off xD).
- The freakin AAAA grade !
- So Deep (same music and steps than the original) and why not a new remix and new steps too ? :p


@DrD : Lol at ridiculous timing xD. I think they will never do this cause almost nobody can quad a song on ddr.

DDR has those, panstyle, they're called "Poison Arrows" and is available on the Xbob (ehehehe) versions.
On the same vein, why not include "Helper Arrows" that do the exact opposite (figure it out).

My ideas :

- New foot rating with decimal. For example, 5 footer Afronova has different taste with 5 footer Remember You .

So, Afronova can be rated at 5.5 while Remember You rated at 4.8

For 10 0r more footer songs, it could be rated like 10.1 or 10.2 etc.

MAX 300 fit rated at 10.0 while Fascination MAXX = 11.5 (Not rated same as 10 footer)


- More video BG, less dancer , banner+BG artwork for every songs like DDR Universe 3. Don't forget screen filter too.

- Complete speed modifier from x 1.0, x 1.5 until MAX (x 10 like DrumMania)

- Premium Stage, like DrumMania.

Do you have a video with those poison arrows ? Or a pics ?
Helper arrows ? O_o I think the opposite of a Poison/shock should be a "normal" arrow.
You maybe mean something who give you more life when you hit it ? But i think we must stay with one type of arrows that you must:should hit. And not one better/most important than an other.


They alreday change the rate system for DDRX, i think they wont change it again.
And on DDRX you can choose speedmod from 1 (or it is 0.5?) to 8 with 0.5 change (like x6.5 for exemple).
Screen filter ? you can make the background darker in ddrx, i don't know if it's what you was thinking ^^'

Maybe you could ask some of our fellow members to record or take a picture of it. Sorry, I don't own any of the Xbox games or an Xbox for that matter. The poison arrow is described as having a more vivid look than most of the arrows.

I say yes to that, but from 13's to 17's. People need more of those to get better. I'd say make songs (KO's, LIscneces, etc.) up to 14s on Singles AND Doubles on Heavy, and also make either more boss songs, or more challenge charts.

We need more licenses that are on the difficulty of Rhythm and Police, Cartoon Heroes and So Deep. That is, on the arcade, not the X-Box series of games.
