So i missed something important again.

DjJeff: Trust me, plagiarism is bad. I have heard what the owners of any works (not really pertaining to the simfiles) can do to those who take their works without permission and credit.

And I tried to leave the DDR community (and this website) for a while, I might even say that my post on "Dance Dance Revolution Choice" and the change of avatar, would be last that I'll do in a DDR related website for quite a while to focus on my "other interests", but of course...

Actually I was gone because my computer broke down and I wasn't feeling well (I think i posted that in the "New years" or "xmas" thread) and caught asthma at the new year's revelry (fireworks + weak lungs). And I think it was on january 2 when I decided to disappear for a while.

Oh, and DJ tomoe might have an idea what some of my other interests are, but I respect his privacy and I hope you do too.

DJTomoe: it's great gift that gabriel gave to us at AAF, and then i stumbled upon your name when i was browsing it.

silenttype: So another cousin of mine (not the one from before) went home after a reunion somewhat with his mom's former classmates from college. So he went home with a PS2 (black and fat unit) and proceeded to try it. He borrowed some games from the my cousin with the red PS2 and proceeded to play it. However when he turned it on, some japanese gibberish mixed with the words "Playstation 2" began appearing on a swirling red background the screen. when he tried it without any disc, he landed in the bios (settings, etc), only this time everything is in japanese. then my aunt told me that it was a present from her former classmates from japan.

So, is this a japanese PS2? for anyone who has seen that screen, what does it say?

In my expierience, the red swirly background that appears when you try play a game says "Please insert a Playstation 2 disc". I got it all the time when I was first trying to mod my PS2 to play japanese games. My guess is that it's a japanese PS2 and it won't let him play non japanese games.
