I, who usually loves to go to snow-covered mountains, took a rare trip to the beach.

It had been quite a few years since I last went.



But it felt so refreshing after such a long time and I was cured.

But as I expected, I soon wanted to return to my favorite snow covered mountains.

When I see snow, all I can think about is living in Kamakura...Maybe I can do it next year (Note: Kamakura is a small city about 30 miles southwest of Tokyo).

When I write this kinds of things, NAOKI-san always says to me: "Maybe you were a snow fairy in a previous life."

I always think "But there are good fairies and bad fairies, which one was I?" but I stop myself from saying it, not wanting to be hurt (smile).

Time seems to have gone at the speed of light lately.

By the way, I was invited to a buffet dinner last week.



Here I am smiling to the camera.

I ate until I was at my limit, going to different tables here and there and eating.

While I was eating, I was telling my friends "I'd like to lose some weight soon."

The look they gave me when I said that was quite painful.

Hello Everyone!

Today, I went to the E3 show in the early morning to check the site out. (E3 is like the Tokyo Game Show, where major games are showed off by companies) .

After that, I headed over to the XBOX 360 MEDIA BRIEFING, and took a look at all the future releases and hung around for the surprises. The guests they had talking on the stage seemed very knowledgeable and it was very nice to hear them talk. Sensational and outstanding! The titles announced were pretty nice as well, they looked both entertaining and stimulating for a fighting spirit.

On a particular new project, the MC said "The past is stripped away for a new revolution!" and it gave me chills. You really felt like the future was endless and anything was possible. Like you were running towards a goal, always thinking "I can do better" and being dissatisfied with even the best effort.

E3 2009

It seems NAOKI-san finally updated his diary after having not written in it for some time. I was pretty surprised.
America? Los Angeles? E3 show? Are you some kind of entertainer now?

By the way, they introduced some new DanceDanceRevolution title, including the Wii title and its new mode, at an E3 press conference the other day in front of a whole bunch of media.

And the NAOKI character was used (*´▽｀*)

Secretly, I want to be an entertainer too. Maybe I could join in too (Joking?)

Actually, before he left, NAOKI said to me "If I use the NAOKI character, then the character and I will be the same!" and he rejected the idea at first...

Who will win the title of "True Entertainer"?! (*￣3￣)=3

E3 2009



This was taken at the Konami Booth at E3. This year, DDR was displayed right up front! I was really happy, exciting! It's great!

The United States has become a main market for DDR, especially on the Wii. The Wii editions of DDR have been very popular in America, perhaps equivalent to the first DDR "boom" in Japan.

I had some very exciting news for the American audience, one being that DDR would be coming to the Playstation 3. There will be a special mode on this game that will include 8 arrow directions. There will also be 150 downloadable songs when it is shipped in the fall. It will be a multiplatform release along with the Xbox 360 game.

Japan Expo

I haven't written in a while, this is NAOKI.
I am now currently in the process of developing the new DanceDanceRevolution for the United States to be released on PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii this Fall.

This year, DDR will be introduced on the PS3 and will include a special 8 panel mode. It's an evolution! You can dance even more! (The Xbox 360 version and the PS3 version will be a multiplatform release).

The Wii edition has gained a lot of popularity around the world using the special qualities of the Wii, and it too will continue its evolution. Surprisingly, this version will make use of the Balance Board!

The PS2 edition is going to the standard edition of DDR, with the usual songs and other things. We're also going to be aiming for a South American audience as well.

When there's another update on the games, I'll surely update my diary. I'm going to liven up DDR in Japan and around the world.

And now, I'd like to shift to something else...
Today, I'm beginning a trip to Paris, France.
All the latest technologies in our wide world...
The revolution inside myself doesn't stop!

Delicious Holiday

I was finally able to take a holiday, in which I went to the "Hanabatake Bokujo Cafe"

I ordered some raw caramels, some ice cream, and a caramel macchiato.



I had heard that it was very good but...
It truly is one of life's pleasures!

Thank you for your continued support.

It's pretty sudden, but in order for us to fully concentrate on the entertainment quality of our productions, we will be ending service of the T Ё Я RA site, which had been keeping irregular updates, on September 30th. You can still enjoy T Ё Я RA on game software and amusement machines everywhere.
