I stick exclusively to hitting with my toes.
Me too, I get a better workout that way, although I don't lift as high as you do I am hitting everything with my toes.

These shoes used to be $6, I'm glad I ordered 12 pairs, I still have a bunch of brand new pairs. I'm also forced to order from that site since nobody else even comes close to my size 16's. Buying a size smaller may be better to keep them snug, however if I had a choice I would buy a pair with laces.
I hope they changed their materials, or you never played doubles no bar in them, or some sort of good explanation. Because I got 2 pairs today, and just tried playing in them. They were worse than a fresh pair of socks. So slick, I could barely do El Ritmo Tropical and La Copa De La Vida. I would have failed anything heavy on turns, and nearly fell on R&P singles.
So, do they just pick up dirt like socks, and gain traction over time, or what? I'm afraid to do 9s in these, afraid I might mess up my knee again.
Oh? I used to be a sock purist so I'm used to the sliding, but they take about 3 days to lose the extreme slipperiness. They don't pick up dirt (well I don't wear them outside so?) but they do tear up, they last about 3 months though and I play WAY harder than 9's.

Yeah you can't do doubles in them, I still have to put on shoes to do doubles. I've never had knee problems and I'm going on 8 years of DDR in socks and these so... Well actually I have gotten knee problems the last two years I marathon trained and running long miles in the state of the art running shoes will running socks gave me some really REALLY bad knee problems, but after I quit running it's gone away and it only hurt when running, but DDR has never given me any injury (well I've cut myself on the sheet metal, and fallen off a pad, or hit my toe on the pad at night).

I have videos at youtube search for username HellRazoR35 and you'll see I wear these all the time.

I added new graphics finally, here's a pic of my pads as of TODAY (oh and new lexan, my previous lexan panels were over 5 years old). Just thought I'd post since I didn't have any current pad pics and I finally installed new graphics.

After almost ten months of waiting, the second revision of In The Groove Rebirth is finally ready for release!

Updates include:

-Cherry Blossom Whirlwind Revisited by Beatdrop vs LMK is now Cherry Blossom Whirlwind (LMK Remix) by Beatdrop; courses have been updated appropriately
-Updated sync, in both the .sm files and the audio
-Updated RandomMovies, to decrease their quality for less lag on machines, and less filesize for download/upload times
-Three new marathons: Galactic, Not Connected, and Hard Nines
-Every song that reached 2:00 or higher have been patched
-Added the joke graphic to Baby Seal's folder
-Changed Mongolian Grill's SX from a 9 to a 10
-Two packs: one with RandomMovies and their BGscripts, and one without. Both have everything else listed above

R2 on Megaupload
R2 without BG stuff on Megaupload

We'll list more official mirrors for the packs as they become available.

Just in time for the next Rocky Mount! With any luck, Rebirth will be perfect with this revision, so we, the Developers, can finally move on to other projects.

Have you ever been curious about what songs and charts were denied in the making of the In The Groove Rebirth megapack? Well, with In The Groove: Rejected, you would know just exactly what thoughts were going through our heads when we first heard the songs ourselves. Several denied songs and cuts, along with two fistfuls of denied charts as .edit files.

This little bonus is just for laughs. Have fun!

Does anyone have the CD title for "In the groove rebirth"? The word "rebirth" (In "In the groove rebirth") remindes me of the song "Paranoia rebirth".

Umm, so... does this mean we'll get MORE ITG cabs or... are the existing ones just going to be updated at the whim of the owner?

If the former: *jumps for joy in a gay pose*
If the latter: *forms an "X" with his middle fingers*

On the topic of flashing a middle finger, I saw a bumper sticker on the freeway this afternoon which read "Next time, wave ALL of your fingers at me".

Nah, no ITGR dedicabs. You could just get your arcade operator to add in the songs. How one would go about that without hacking the machine, I have no idea, that seems to be the only way to add songs that I've heard of. Could someone verify this?
If you have to ask, you'll never know.

Attention, please. I'll be using it in StepMania.
