Can someone translate what it says in front of the machine? All I know is that it says something about a revolution.

The revolution has begun~

"On ZiV I'm like Princess Diana"
Quote: Konami Press Release
Konami Digital Entertainment is proud to present the latest addition to the BEMANI music simulation collection, Dance Dance Revolution X (DDR X). This latest version shows the evolution of the game, incorporating 10 years of innovation from the first version that was launched in 1998. The new version, housed in a fresh cabinet design contains many of the original features that make DDR the best amusement dance machine on the market and also some new surprises for new and existing players. DDR X is going to be a truly global version with the brand name changed from Dancing Stage to Dance Dance Revolution on this model and for all future models. The game will be tested in Europe and USA in the coming months prior to the planned launch. More news about the product including news on the additional features, new cabinet and upgrade kits for existing Konami products, will be available soon, but for now, “The Revolution Has Begun!”

So, confirmed for USA/Europe, and the new cabinet design is confirmed too!

Alright, this is great news! Big Grin It really feels like Konami is trying to bring DDR together and I'm really happy about this! I'm thoroughly pleased. And i would love to attend a location test Smile

All we need to know now is the status of e-Amuse.

yes... I just hope the american and european versions be "aligned" to the japanese version, so we don't need to complain about each song roster

I wouldn't worry about that, just don't expect much in the Western CS versions ;)
Unless Konami really ARE caring, and they DO give us the stuffz.

"jubeat knit one, purl two"
If it's anything like SuperNOVA 2, it would be an anti-revolution (if that makes any sense).

So it's truly universal, i.e. released everywhere at the same time with the same list and such?

Maybe they'll allow the IIDX cabinets to link up to the DDR machines like they did back in Sub-Stream. I hope they do that again, no matter how goofy the idea was, is, or will be.

I mean, they want to unify the two games again, so it's only a slightly small possibility.

Well Konami seemed to have left DDRUK some kind of note:

The screen looks HD to me, so I'm pretty curious on how the game is going to react on it. Well, of course, if this image will look like the one in real life.

Looking at that picture, I imagine the songlist having it's own screen and it being touch sensitive o_o
