A D4DJ song, wow. Been a while since we last saw one there is no D4DJ song in BR2022, right?? RIGHT??.
So it's kors k and sky_delta. sky_delta has a bunch of songs like DIABLOSIS::Naga and Swords of Vengeance, plus he's a member of Endorfin. (with Aitsuki Nakuru) which also has songs in BEMANI. As of kors k, I think an introduction wouldn't needed.
Custom ZIP contains custom graphics in Japanese.

Late promo for week 3!

Bag It Up/ Geri Halliwell
: 5/
: 8/
:10
Geri Halliwell was previously featured in DDRMAX2, with IT'S RAINING MEN (ALMIGHTY MIX). I tried to recreate how her name appears in the DDRMAX2 graphics here in this file.
So, unfortunately, this file is the product of rushed development in a few apparent ways. Mainly, up until recently, the singles charts were rated on the classic scale, which was a byproduct of me usually rating my files on this scale first, then changing them right before submission- I think Stepmania glitched on my end, because upon looking at my .sm file, the 6-panel lowers (and an important change for one of the patterns on the
chart) did not save either, and I know that I went back to fix the ratings after I completed those. Also, I think the color of the song title doesn't stand out very well against the graphics, but I went with it anyways due to time constraints. Also, normally for these types of files I capitalize the title and artist to mimic the old DDR files, which I forgot to do here.
That aside, this was a fun license from Dancemania Summers 3 that I've considered stepping way back in 2017, when I've first heard it! Since the DDR songs from Dancemania Summers 3 both came from DDR 4th mix/4th mix PLUS, naturally I felt inclined to model this file as such, which manifests itself in how I cut the song, the charts (mostly the lack of freeze arrows), and the graphics (which is why there's no BG video, despite a music video for this song existing). It might be the easiest file of the week, but I think there's a decent amount of variety for a 4th mix-esque file. Anyways, like I mentioned before, there were supposed to be 6-panel charts, but the only one that survived has a unique pattern whose fix was lost with the other 6-panel charts, and as it stands now, doesn't really go with the song. Thankfully, however, the singles and doubles charts are perfectly fine, so I hope you enjoy! (Edit: EDP has some charting errors too
)

Late file promo!
As you may have guessed, this wasn't exactly my first choice for this week, nor is it nearly as ambitious, but I wouldn't have had the time to give my initial file the justice it deserves anyways, and I think this song is very nice, regardless! This song, along with a few others from this singer, were featured in a film that, like South Park, blends an adorable aesthetic with a more adult-oriented scenario in a way I thoroughly enjoyed! Unfortunately, the version I had stepped differs from the one sang by the heroine, and I tried looking into including the excerpt from the film for a BGA, but as it turns, the versions also differ in their BPMs. That aside, this song is fairly straightforward, though take care to note that the hardest chart has two footswitches that can also be treated as a spin.

IT'S REAL SKANKIN' HOURS
Thought I'd try something completely different this round; some ska! Fun little duet about how much you've grown to hate each other but the love is still there... somewhere. Really touching lyrics to this song I'd recommend paying attention to them, absolute no juvenile humour in there whatsoever.
EDIT SINGLES is a scrapped Shock Arrow CSP chart; I just wasn't confident in my shock arrow use so I incorporated some of the shock arrow patterns into the ESP. If anyone wants to give me feedback on my shock usage in the Edit chart please do as I wanna get better at them, but please don't judge me based on that haha.
EDIT DOUBLES is a different story; it's a 2 player couples chart! P1 plays the holds, P2 plays the rolls. It's a ska duet, of course it needs a couples chart. Like 3 people are ever gonna play this chart but I have fun making couples charts so LOL.
SIMFILE BUFFET STUFF:
H - Your song must be one of these two: <100BPM for the whole song, >200BPM for the whole song. (236bpm)
I - Your hardest chart may only use 4th, 8ths and 12ths. (8ths maximum)
N - Your hardest chart must use at least one row of shock arrows/mines. (single mines do not count) (ESP/EDP 6 rows of shocks)
