Play 30 times, you get absolutely nothing but one song unlock.

That's kinda what sucks about most of these events; you have to really be committed to them. When I went to R1 last time, I spent around 5 hours, nonstop (giveortake a snack break), playing IIDX, and in those 5 hours, I unlocked 3 BPL Tourism songs, and 2 of the 5 CastHour Space songs. I technically could've unlocked the Tourism songs faster if I failed out on the 2nd song and started a new game, but that would kinda be wasting credits/money if you constantly did that, especially when you have this other event that you're also unlocking songs from.

I think in Japan, the grind isn't as bad because Premium mode has those extra benefits to unlock songs faster, but you're having to spend even more money on Paseli to access it, so it becomes a time versus money thing, sorta like a free to play mobile game like Candy Crush where you eventually reach a level that's near impossible unless you buy those microtransactions to "cheat" your way to finishing it. I have no clue how those people in Japan are able to unlock those songs so fast, unless they spent maybe 12 hours or back to back days grinding really hard. >>

Going on weekdays (Monday-Thursday specifically), when traffic isn't as high, helps your chances of having a game all to yourself for those grind sessions. Also helps that most locations have a 2nd IIDX cab now, albeit it's 1 normie cab and 1 Lightning.

Eh? As far as I know, Score always had an Another, and it was never modified as far as I know.

According to RemyWiki, the Another chart was never in 10th/RED AC; it was exclusive to 10th CS.

Are you talking about the chart being listed as “N/A”? If so, it’s written that way because Another charts didn’t get proper ratings until Happy Sky. If a difficulty didn’t have a chart, RemyWiki would list it as “-“. Good example is looking at the chart history for Rislim.

You're right; I just checked the 10th Style page, and it does have a checkmark for an Another chart. Whoops. >>

(To be fair, 10th was the first game where every song had an another chart; earlier games had at least one song that only had Normals and Hypers at the time)

{*I didn't notice the dashes on some of the 10th Style songs until I looked again. I must be going blind or something. My point still stands. XD)

Changes was the only song on 10th that didn't have a Single Another. And the last new song without one. I can't remember when having all Double Anothers was standardized.

It was when EMPRESS was released, all the new default songs in that game had another doubles, Though it didn't take until SIRIUS for revival unlocks to get another doubles too if they didn't already have one. FLOWERS for ALBION, THE SHINING POLARIS and Jam & Marmalade didn't have double anothers, disregard this part.

It's hard AF; I only reached the Hyper charts for Absolute Evil once, and I choked at the very end of that song (I had EX-Hard on, thinking I'd reach OMES, but nope). AAA'd the Normal chart, though. No way in hell I'm gonna reach OMES until they make it available outside Another. >>
