So, how Ladder Match works is you first play with bots for the first 5 matches as a placement test, and then you'll get paired with real people unless no one else of a similar skillset is online, where you'll be paired with a bot instead (until you reach Platinum or Diamond, of course). So, once you reach Rank I on the tier, you're placed into a "Promotion Match", but that's kinda misleading, because you have to win 3 out of 5 to be promoted, so maybe they should've called it a "Promotion Series" instead. >>

It's actually pretty good!

So to back up what the person above me said about Online ladder match, If you have played League of Legends before, it is the same exact system as league. Except from going to Iron 4 to Iron 3 there is no promotion you just gain LP (Same thing as League of Legends too) . At Iron 1 , Bronze 1 , Gold 1 , etc you have to win 3 of 5 to go higher.
Your first couple of matches WILL be with bots (It was 2 bots then a real player) The bots are simple to beat they get around 70% Rate and miss like 1-2. The song are easy aswell when you start getting into Iron 1 thats when the 5-6 Difficulties start popping up. If you are going against a real player you have a chance to "REVENGE" them.

I'm thinking it's the rest of the "V" songs as DLC, I know the soundtrack had a bunch of tracks not in the game. Some were from TapSonic Bold. So I'm guessing they're being added as DLC.

Those new songs are all top-shelf; Pretty neat to see Onoken, Cranky, Myukke all debuting in DJMAX!

Cranky has actually been in DJMAX before, namely with a remix of La Campanella in Technika 2 and an original in 3 called SuperNova. I am excited for this batch, though I wonder if Do It (being a license) will make the jump if/when these come to the PS4.

Their official discord says this at the bottom of the announcement for it "※ This DLC will be updated later on PlayStation4 DJMAX RESPECT as well.". So yeah we can expect it to come to PS4 hopefully soon.

I'm actually surprised to see Pory still making music, I like all the songs so I'll buy day 1 whenever it's released on PS4. Also I'm disappointed to see they made all these songs DLC. You would think they would be part of the base game eventually considering they were teased in the first V trailer. lol

Also don't like how they state 20 original tracks when Black Gold and FIGHT NIGHT are from Bold.

$25 is pretty steep for songs I thought were going to be added to the base game to celebrate 1.0 launching. Here's hoping the other DLCs are a lot cheaper. X_X

Not necessarily; weren't the other DLCs at a more reasonable $10-$15? Then again, I don't really know for sure because I had to pay Hong Kong prices for my PS4 version. ^^;

OPENING LADDER MATCH PRE-SEASON

PLACEMENT MATCH HAVE BEEN ADDED
For each button mode, you will face BOT for the first 5 matches to get placed.
Each match against a bot will give you a BP (Placement Point), and after 5 matches, you will be placed.
Please check the list of tiers you can get placed with placement match.
- Iron 1, 2, 3, 4
- Bronze 1, 2, 3, 4
- Silver 1, 2, 3, 4
- Gold 1, 2, 3, 4
- Platinum 1, 2, 3, 4

CHANGED ROUND SYSTEM
REMATCH system for the first 2 rounds has been removed, and we minimized game rounds.
If the match score is tied for the first two rounds (either 1:1 or 2:2), players will proceed with the final round in the hard judgment.
If two players tie in the final match, TIE-BREAKER will process with even harder judgment.
We have added rules when tie happens in a match.
Please check the below for the tie-rule.
Draw in a Round will grant each player a point. (example below
- First Round Win / Second Round Draw -> Winner of the First Round wins the match.
- First Round Draw / Second Round Win -> Winner of the Second Round wins the match.
- First Round Draw / Second Round Draw -> Final Round starts with hard judgment.
- First Round Win / Second Round Lose -> Final Round starts with hard judgment.

RELEGATION SYSTEM ADDED
LADDER MATCH BETA didn't have a proper relegation system. We fixed it.
PROMOTION MATCH CHANGED
The promotion match has been simplified up to Platinum rank. (1 win out of two matches)
Diamond / Master tier's promotion matches are still the best of 5.
UI has been added for the promotion and relegation.
BOT PLACEMENT HAS BEEN CHANGED
You can no longer meet a PENGUIN BOT in Platinum tier.
UI DESIGN CHANGED AND ENHANCED
DESIGN FOR GAME READY STATUS HAS BEEN CHANGED
NOW YOU CAN SEE THE OPPONENT'S GEARS/NOTES
BUG FIX AND FEATURE ENHANCEMENT
Fixed issue where the game crashed or worked inappropriately when the opponent leaves in the middle of the match.
Now you can earn rewards and experience points in a ladder match.


MISSION MODE OPEN
Now you can experience 60 renewed missions of RESPECT.
Added 12 missions for V EXTENSION PACK. (V EXTENSION MISSION has to be purchased to unlock.)


SCORE AND FEVER SYSTEM
Now all perfect play will have the same score.
The maximum score you can get from FEVER OFF has been changed to 350,000 from 300,000.
FEVER changed to give bonus score when it is activated.
Previous Ranking Board and Personal Scores will not be removed.


ADDED STEAM ACHIEVEMENT
Added 52 RESPECT V Steam Achievements.
Added 9 V EXTENSION Achievements.
V EXTENSION Achievements can be acquired after purchasing DLC.


LOCALIZATION
Added languages.
This localization is the first one of many to come. In a few features, the menu and texts may be English for now.
The features that are not localized yet, will be changed after additional updates.

I got the rest of the achievements once I launched 1.0.

So, the V Extension Pack is discounted to $20 for the first week, so go get it if you can!

They definitely redid the mission mode; there's different songs on some of the missions, and there was even a Online song at the end of 1-5; kinda makes me wonder if we would've gotten a different song, had we not received the Emotional Sense pack for free. >>

Just tried ladder match; the placement tests are a lot more accurate this time; instead of having to start at the bottom like in the beta, I got placed at Gold III.
