ULTIMATE MOBILE DanceDanceRevolution (Mobile)

Was a 2019 release year confirmed anywhere or was that just speculation?

I’m pretty sure everywhere just said TBA.

Bump for proof that these games weren't cancelled: this and the other two Ultimate Mobile games will be playable at TGS. There will also be a live presentation on 9/12 at 13:00.

Honestly, i don't know if DDR in mobile is a good idea.
In my opinion DDR is not a game for a mobile, is for a console. I know, DDR is not thinking of taking your game to a console but i think, it's not a good idea for a mobile.

it says mobile because that's (one of) the main platform(s) it's being released on since it's developed/designed for such, the pc announcement came after it was revealed, the thread's creation was during the time where we only knew another ddr game is coming, and it should really say Mobile/PC or CS/multi-platform even but the op didn't update the title as of this writing so yeah, but they're indeed aware of the concerns of screen size of a smartphone device so dwbi lol uwu

Well on another note, I'll add some details for those of you that don't know much about the game (info from RemyWiki; although i did find the majority of the confirmed songs so far via twitter screenshots and blog posts so yes weird flex but ok this is to confirm or clarify on someone's confusion on the songlist in this forum)

Confirmed list of songs so far:

Songs from DanceDanceRevolution (2014):
- Din Don Dan / Ryu☆ feat. Mayumi Morinaga

Songs from DanceDanceRevolution A:
- ANNIVERSARY ∴∵∴ ←↓↑→ / BEMANI Sound Team "U1 Overground"
- Catch Our Fire! / 中島由貴
- Electric Dance System Music / U1 overground
- Show me your moves / BEMANI Sound Team "TAG" feat. 柊木りお

Gameplay features:
- Supports up to 4 players
- Soft mat, and metal pads will be available
- iOS, Android and PC are the systems it will be available on; essentially up-to-date any smartphone, tablet and computer device you have
- Songlist seems to be a catch-up to arcade releases
- UI is original, not based on any existing theme, although dancer/stage graphics are from DanceEvo!

Trivia:
- First DDR to be released for PC in Japan!!!

Is there any other information on the site in regards to these? I know we have had the songs confirmed with Remywiki since I posted the song list back in February.

I wonder if those metal pads will work as a normal joystick on PC or if they'll be firmware locked to just the DDR game. I hope they're standard as I'd love to be able to get a new official pad with sensors!

oh did metal pads get confirmed? last i heard was that they were only for the stage demo and weren't actually being produced

I'm sure when it was first announced I'd read that they were going to be available. I was assuming it was like the old Arcade Style DDR pad that had a really limited release in Japan. Hopefully since there are a lot more new cabs in many different countries, Konami might actually make them available more locally, however I doubt that.

I'm going to do more digging, I hope they're going to be available.
