In the comments for Show Me Your Moves, they say this song is meant to represent the current age of DDR, specifically DDR A. Maybe hinting that future unlocks will represent older mixes?

I happened to be at my arcade when the event started so I got to experience everything totally fresh, which was kind of awesome!
Show Me Your Moves is a really fun song! It's sound mixes nostalgia and modern style music really well. And the different UI themes for older songs really hit me! I can't wait to see what's in the pipeline as more stuff get rolled out.

Show Me Your Moves is pretty fun. But i'm honestly just so fucking stoked on this entire update. My expectations were low so i'm glad to see Konami went so far beyond what i ever could have expected.

I have a crazy theory that will most likely not happen, i have a theory that one of the songs (most likely the last one), will be composed by Naoki Maeda. Again, this is most likely not gonna happen but... It just makes too much sense!

I also have a sneaking suspicion. If you look on NAOKI's Twitter account, he has made a lot of cryptic tweets. I'm on mobile so I can't link right now, but in one he celebrated 1998 as the year of his beginning, in another he said he wanted to hear fans remix TRIP MACHINE and PARANOiA. He also @'d the official DDR Twitter when they announced DDR Megamix and he actually just tweeted them again 5 minuted ago congratulating them on the anniversary.

Come on, Naoki will never return to DDR. In twitter account only said: Congratulations and nothing more. He will continue his new project.

I don't want him to return to Konami, personally. The way they are screwing over the Bemani artists is bad enough. I'm just happy he wished DDR happy 20th.

Love the nostalgia the anniversary has to offer. Didn't expect UIs of old mixes to act as its milestome celebration (I doubt anyone did). A small detail here but this does mean that OK, NG (except 1st and 4th mix, unless there's a chart in those folders with a freeze arrow; worst case scenario if they remove the freeze arrows for those songs in the case of Hero but that would suck big time) and Marvelous timing make their first appearance for the UIs of 1st to MAX.

The new update is so beautifully-done. It's so nostalgic and wonderful to see all the old themes and announcers make a comeback, and it got me all emotional. I hope this just isn't a limited-edition thing so I can experience it for myself on the DDR A machines in my area soon...

Same. I literally cried in happiness when the update came.
This motivates me to play DDR more often and not in a boring and casual way.

Based on the footages, looks like the nostalgic UI only has 3 themes based on eras - DDR, DDR Extreme and then Ace. I initially thought you'd get the version UI as to where they originated from (eg. getting the 3rdMIX UI for Afronova).

Well, you know, each era has common UI elements spread throughout its games. For example:
- The classic arrow design and lifebar from 1st and 2ndMIX
- The letterboxed UI design (and squiggly lifebar) from MAX to EXTREME, although 5thMIX also counts in this one.
- The Extreme NA CS-style UI (no letterboxing) for the SuperNOVA games [plus banners!].
- Practically the UI you're seeing now in DDR A. Aside from font changes, text placement, etc., the layout remains the same since X.
