Essentially console gaming has taken over some of the areas arcade gaming excelled in making the latter slightly redundant.

And I won't deny that home ports of arcade games typically have more content/modes (Time attack, adventure, Paint Mode, Metal Slug's Academy watchamacallit) than their arcade counterparts, which are often limited to "Arcade Mode."

If someone gets a hold of the fully unlocked US machine, can they check for I'm So Happy/Theory of Eternity? I'm guessing we probably won't get those as the full songs were probably downloaded through e-Amuse on JP machines, but not entirely sure.

More than likely i am putting my money down that they won't show up in the fully unlocked version. Theory Of Eternity and I'm So Happy were e-amuse exclusive songs through the jubeat APPEND Festival Event, where you played a song in one series and you can unlock that song in another (it was throughout X2, jubeat ripples, Resort Anthem, and Reflec Beat). The songs may not appear in X2 US AC, but i would hope that for X3 US AC the songs do make it into that version, heck i am rooting for those two to make it into DDR II for the Wii

Theory of Eternity was an eAmuse download, but I think that I'm So Happy was on the machines all along. It would depend on a lot of things. Was it included in the English builds, is the full unlock a hack causing certain things to happen that wouldn't with a legitimate MAX unlock code, etc...

That is AMAZING. The way his form is going back and forth is incredible!!!!!!!!!!!

While good, I guess I'm just not that amazed by it...now, maybe if he cleared it and didn't have to hold on to the bar all the time I'd be more impressed but, and I know DDR looks silly normally, I feel he just looks really silly holding on for dear life like that. XD Still, I will say that was well done in beating the song but I'd love to see him do it without relying on the bar that much.

I assure you it looks better when the player isn't holding onto both bars for the entire song.

We're still complaining about people using the bar? Hey, it's the year 2000 all over again...

I'm with him. Which reminds me, I gotta learn Riverdance, I heard its good practice for playing current boss songs without the bar.

People, POSSESSION D- is hands down the hardest song in DDR. And we're complaining about the bar? Get serious.

That's amazing, that chart is just 100% insane and anyone who can do that is impressive in my books.

Here's the same person on the same song, no bar. It takes him multiple tries to pass it.

Crossovers in double is more complex.
Thus, crossovers in POSSESSION D-CHA is harder than Valkyrie dimension S-CHA. The thing that makes Valkyrie dimension kinda harder is the first speed-up stupid stream... and maybe random jumps. Imagine POSSESSION D-CHA having VD's random jumps...
