We have 3 extreme machines, the stepmania machine, ITG, and we used to have a Dance Maniax machine, but the arcade sold it for $300.

WTF. $300? I would have bought that sucker in a heartbeat, but they wanted to sell it to denver or something.


Anyways, someone vandalized and stole out Christmas decorations for the second time. My mom called the police and now it's a hate crime (cause Christmas is a religous thing) and since they threw dead squirrels on one of the decorations they ripped, it's serious I guess. FUCK EM.

Oh, some fun shit on Left 4 Dead tonight. I was helping a friend after he'd asked me to get him through some campaigns. I've played the crap out of the game plenty of times. What could go wrong?

WRONG #1: We're getting swamped by a horde of zombies and my teammate gets dropped. Even though I'm at critical life myself, I go back to throw a pipe bomb to distract all the zombies around him and revive him. We're both pretty beat up, so we limp to safety as fast as we can. I get grabbed by a Smoker and pulled back into a group of zombies. I'm yelling to my teammate to save me, but he keeps punching on through the zombies in front of him. When he finally realizes I'm getting my shit ruined, he comes back to help me. He breaks the Smoker's hold on me, and kills all the other zombies stomping me into a pulp. At this point, I've only got about 30 health of bleed-out life and it's dripping fast. I ask him to help me up...

...but nothing. My teammate's standing right in front of me, but he's not helping me. He's within arm's reach. If I had free movement of my character model, he'd be close enough for me to kick. Instead, he stands there and watches me die. I'm so glad I made the effort to go back and help him.

WRONG #2: The thing about getting knocked down is that you can be revived, but only twice. The third time you're knocked down, you're DEAD.

Me and this same guy are on the same team in a Versus match. I'm almost on my third down, but I'm actually not too worried, because the Safe Room is within sight, and we just killed the entire enemy team worth of Infected, and I know they still have at least 10-15 seconds before they can respawn. PLENTY of time. With only one point of health left, I'm limping to the Safe Room...

ALMOST THER-- "Here, lemme heal you up!" My teammate starts healing me. You STOP MOVING when you're being healed.

Sure enough, a Charger spawns. He plows through us, kills me in the charge, grabs my teammate, and starts pounding his guts into fettucini. Good thing my buddy decided to heal me. Otherwise, I might not have lived through that attack.

Oh, wait...



FUN: I got my revenge, though. Later, in another Versus match, he got grabbed by a Smoker. I ran back to where he got grabbed, and watched the Smoker choke the life out of him. Other Infected players tried to stop me from apparently "saving" him. I'm punching out Hunters mid-pounce, dodging Spitter acid, the whole nine yards. I'm KILLING any Infected that are trying to take me out, but afterwards, I'm just standing there, making nice with the enemy Smoker, just to watch my "friend" die. I'm sure even the enemy team could pick up my anger.

I finally killed the Smoker when my teammate had about 50 points of bleed-out health left. As he lay there, asking me for help, I couldn't help but feel like I'd seen this situation before. However, instead of just standing there, I decided I couldn't bring myself to let him bleed out like that. I decided to take action.

...So I threw a molotov on top of him. Eat a dick, teammate.



tl;dr: Left 4 Dead. Partner's a fag. Gets me killed. RAEG. Kill teammate.

I played a DDR X AC here in America @ GameWorks and found it to be better than what I expected.

*Insert holy shit I got B's when I can get A's and AA's on these songs rant*
Haven't played in AC's lately, but have been playing at home with...those pads. <_<

The feel was truly different. I played an SN1 AC and then I played this (DDR X AC).
I liked the X cab more. (There I said it.)

In all, the experience wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

Oh, I also got to see Guitar Freaks...but I didn't feel like playing it. I don't know...didn't have an interest in it at the time.

I personally hate the feel of the pads on DDR X machines. They feel as a hard as rock and the arrows don't rebound at all. My ankles were in pain for about a day after playing DDR X for one hour.

Then again, the only time I played DDR X was in Niagara Falls back in July, so the pads might have improved by now.

I recently took my finals for two of my classes. The one that truly had my copncern was Physics...'

How did my instructor think that two and a half hours would be enough to complete 30 problems? As far as I saw, only two people did. It's maddening to know that out of 300 points I already know that I've lost 90 points for questions I didn't get to.

Now I know I failed...

Got dizzy following this advice. But it is for a "good" cause.

Tests in English (make a narrative essay when Snow white just about bites the apple), Computer Networking (LAN, MAN, Coaxial Cable, etc.) and Fundamentals of Operating Systems were easy, Accounting was pretty hard.

Tests for multimedia (Macromedia Fireworks) and Computer Hardware should hopefully take place after the Chirstmas break (Jan. 4).
