Working in all X machines " LOCAL MODE " only just like in SN2.
If the code is successful, an icon will appeared in the right side of the title screen (3rd icon)

So is that it? The Xmix and A Geisha's Dream? I input the code in an X machine around my vacation spot and those are the only new things I could find.

Thats cool and all but now I am having fear that e-amuse has been canceled due to lack of interest. No one has gotten an update on the situation, the unlock codes are rolling out, and many arcades are refusing to support it. I dont think e-amuse is going to come out anymore.

It looks like trash data to me. They (Konami?) don't seem to like cleaning up after themselves.

So, apparently they have sold out of the current model of DDR X machines and have stopped production on them, saying that they will release a "new model" next year...

I wish they'd have stuck with the original design in the first place, assuming there reverting back to it, even if it meant, possibly, less distribution worldwide. Now were stuck with (even after improvements) pad's that don't live up to quality/sensitivity and will most likely break down after months of 'normal' use.
Here's praying that if/when DDRX2 is released it uses proven pad design from the older generation's.
