@ Silverhawke, what machine took the code? The JP and or Asian one or the Betson USA one?

It works on an Asian cabinet??? O_O

They have what amounts to all three variations of X2 AC (Exotic Man reported that Betson X2's where seen as well). I'm dying to know which cab took it.

I successfully entered code #2 after only about 5 or 7 tries:



I only played Max Love challenge, but it did sound like the Chinese version, so I think it's safe to assume that they work similarly to iFuturelist and Nijjiro.

I think the bigger surprise was that I was able to pass this on the pads with the right arrow severely hyper-firing:

I'm THIS close to getting dressed and heading over to the arcade if this unlock works for initial release Asian cabs.

Has anyone been to the DnB in New York City?

I haven't gotten a chance to go there, but I remember they had a Supernova 2.

I looked at the locator and it hasn't been updated in years, has anyone went there recently to see if they have a X2 cab?

They had an X in decent shape when I was there a few months ago. I don't believe they've gotten an X2 yet, but idk. It's really not the best arcade anyway - credits are expensive there.

Just got back from Gameworks a few hours ago. I left with 9 new AAA's. I got 10 just the day before so I am hauling ass through the games songlist still.

I immediately put in unlock code when I walked in today and began playing. I didn't PFC anything the first round (and there is NO new extra stages) so I decided to try Vs. Replicant.


AND...

I failed. I ended up getting a little farther later that night (got to the end of New Decade) but never passed that stage.

I decided to go back and play a few rounds and got these...




I also tried one other course. I decided to play Pluto Story since it had Mei in it and I have never played that song on a pad yet. Pluto The First kicked my ass pretty badly on the way to that song, which was after a full combo on Relinquish (my first time ever). I thought I still knew the gimmicks very well on The First but I guess not...


I also played 888 Challenge, passed that right below an A so I couldn't even register my high score on the machine >_< This unlock code was definitely worth waiting for at the very least as I didn't walk away with a PFC AAA on all the new songs this time (which is great for someone like me since it will increase the replay value).

This is a sign of a terrible pad. Jk. I've seen people claim pads at certain X2's were terrible and yet, display amazing scores such as these. Glad to see your X2 is still in good condition 8).
