Let It Out

I'm only wearing a towel right now. (nvm, just got dressed.)

It has been pretty hectic 3 days here. Three parties each day. My dad and his friends on friday, my sis and some of her friends (a lot came, we can't accommodate them all) and some of my dads neighbors earlier. The only thing I hate about beer parties is having to clean up after them. If I don't stay awake in time for them to wrap it up (they can go as late as 3 am). I'll wake up to a very messy kitchen sink, bottle caps, cigarette butts and ashes on the table, etc.

I had fun on the second party despite me being the odd one out (I don't know any of her guests). It made me think that I was missing out on parties with my own age group but nevertheless they were all cool with me sitting there with them.

But one of my relatives told me the next day that there was this guy who sung so horribly to some Maroon 5 songs. I just flashed her a look.

EDIT: Did I mention that we had to clean everything for the second party? Despite being covered with dust and lifting old boxes of who-knows-what outside the door and the fact that we did the cleaning on a hot day, it's all worth it since all of us benefited from it. Now all that's left is the floor (needs polishing) and upstairs.

Yeah, I get yelled at all the time for not cleaning my personal spaces (bed, computer and sometimes my dresser). But who knew a lot of stuff can get underneath the desk. I found my old test papers, just papers and even a bag of cement (the pc is located downstairs) that I can't figure out why its there.

I hate it when all these "pros" come in and SDG everything and always get Extra Stage. It just reminds me that I suck, I can't PA for crap, and I get a lot less out my money than they do. I also feel like I can't play Singles because everyone will realize how bad I am if I go after them, so I end up playing mostly Doubles when they're around.

I could have done something about it, but it's an SN, meaning the pads suck and I can't do a whole lot anyway.

Heck, I'm so out of practice, I'd have to spend a month on Extreme rebuilding my skill (to a level that really wasn't that high considering I couldn't A very many 9s).

Sometimes, I wonder if the different synching from SM messes me up (SDP's are nothing out of the ordinary for me). It could be, because my cousin plays SM and gets a lot of Greats, but she has decent PA on DDR.

LOL I'm ranting about DDR.

Ugh, we're going to have a fire drill on Tuesday. I hate fire drills. I've always been so nervous from the anticipation of when the alarm is going to go off.

Only a little awkward lol.

So, today, I went to this place called Rascal's near Macungie (suburbs near Allentown). GREATEST FUN ZONE I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!

There was a rock wall, mini bowling, bumper cars, laser tag, ball crawl, arcade, and DDR!!! (supernova )

Anyways, I played DDR, and by the last one, I jumped the gun.

At my school, they announce that there’s going to be a fire drill in 5 minuets, killing the whole point of a surprise drill.

Well it sorta made me feel like i needed to train more, but i was cool with the fact that he was also cool with whatever score he got (although the occasional "great" that scrolled by made him do a "wtf" motion with his hand =P). So it doesn't matter whether or not the guy was better than me (I put it this way, i am better than 50% of the population while the other 50% of the population are ten times better than me...so i am really good, but not "godly" good).

Although after today's round, i REALLY need to jump back to playing for longer periods of time...>_>

I understand that, but it the people who aren't already godly are people who aren't serious about the game...at least when I'm there. It's not a huge draw in this area, so you pretty much just have the niche elite group and the passers-by who play just a few games.

Or maybe I'm being overly negative again. My knowing the ins and outs of something could diminish the perceived value from a "typical" standpoint, but it's true that the arcade scene in Dallas (the crowds and the arcades themselves) is 1000x better.

The high school for my district is the only one that allows you to talk during fire drills. I guess it's because there's really too many students to take attendance. I suspect the custodians just go through the entire building and make sure nobody's in there.

Here's some backstory: our sixth form centre is made of students from two different schools. One is in the Top 140 schools in the UK, the other is in the bottom 140. Fire drills always seem to happen on the shitty side, where we have to go do it with all the younger ones. And the headmistress runs the school like a prison. If you even think of breathing out of your mouth, she'll yell at you until your eardrums bleed. Add this to the fact that she yells through a megaphone when you're A METRE IN FRONT OF HER, and you'll realise how much I want to leave this place in May.

Oh, my bed is AWESOME.

I just got two mattress protectors on the cheap down my local supermarket for £4.99 a piece. My brother didn't want one, so I took both. My matress is now *goes to check* 10 inches thick. EPIC.
