Here's hoping the new Round 1 coming in Baltimore has A20.

It's opening in autumn there, so I think that's a safe bet you'll get a gold cab. XD

It's been heavily rumored that Round1 US did put in orders for gold cabs, it's just not known which stores are going to get them.

PREMIUM MODE is PASELI-only if imported the japanese gold cabinets to USA instead of install the US gold ones.

Aslo, a future time Konami release the Gold kits for SN2, X and (2013) cabinets (in USA with licencing issues only).

I don't know why I'm even in this thread discussing A20 when my area has nothing but Extremes and ITGs lol

That reminds me; has there been any confirmation the 573 cabinets aren't being supported anymore? I'm still going to say they dropped support because it's been increasingly difficult making a 4:3 SD version of something in HD.

Hope so. What makes you think that?

As I mentioned before, Round1's newest locations tend to get the latest and greatest models (one example would be the IIDX cabinets; they already have an HD monitor, and there's a keypad and card reader on the machine itself rather than being latched on the sides, mosto f the new locations have that model; I know one of the Texas locations has it.).

Same goes with pinball tables; the newer ones have gotten stuff like Deadpool and Iron Maiden while my location in Moreno Valley is stuck with Star Trek/Walking Dead/Metallica. X_X

I think the more popular locations get new/more machines too (my location's probably the only one with just one SDVX cab, no Tsum Tsum, no Project Diva, and no House of the Dead Scarlet Dawn. Sad )

Sucks that the D&Bs near me dont have DDR A. You'd think they'd have it in a city like Baltimore. If they have one in Honolulu, then why not here?

Good, you can just r21 all the A20 simfiles onto the ITG machine(s) and not have to worry about things like region restrictions. /shitpost2

Approximately nobody asked for this song to be included. Least popular decision by the Japanese since Nintendo released the Wii U.

it's photoshopped so the caption is probably from the date but the pic replaced whatever the original image was

"Take your hater shades off."
Our R1 has been spreading a rumor since like January that they're expecting a second DDR cabinet. To which I was like "cool but this is in the middle of a corn field; how the hell are you going to find anyone to play on a second machine?"

if it winds up being A20, I guess that's how

we/they still can't figure out e amuse so rip business anyway

uwu now that I've put off doing this it's time that I posted my opinions ! (so far(ofc duh hoe))
pros:
- mmm that artist lineup sexy
- songs are more distinct and varied compared to the new KOs in the default songlist (DDR A had the same EDM-sounding songs, 11-13 footers and like one 15 and 17, almost all the new KOs were composed or arranged by u1/sota and the rest were crossovers and reused SDVX licenses from like the same 2 or 3 groups/artists the only variety was dj taka lmao)
- no bemani crossovers at the start for the first time it's all original content
- license(s (seemingly)) are more appealing !!!
- new sounds like the countdown one and other misc. stuff!!!
- those new renders hnggggg in the select style menu
- the BGA in the song select is gorgeous
- new fonts for the grades FINALLY
- STEPCHARTS
- they rerated songs that needed to be rerated FINALLY
ok now cons:
- they still haven't updated all the assets used SINCE 2006 WHAT can u just pls replace the crowd noises I find them arguable more annoying than the announcer itself (they also haven't updated the sfxs when ur score is calculated and selecting something)
- the menus also look similar to Ace and 2014(the e-amuse fonts when typing in data/results) but with an overuse of ugly gold framing and weird stylization but at the same time it's majestic so idk
- some of the new fonts are so weird I get they're trying to have this some sort of aesthetic but chill konami
- dancers and stages aren't updated as they should be they still look like PS2-era graphics
- pls change the announcer they're literally 11 years old now not even Londell Taz Hicks was used that long
- small default songlist but that's aight they're all more replayable than Ace's initial lineup
- needs more licenses at the start Sad
- some songs still haven't been rerated and/or rerated wrongly
- there should be more gameplay changes in that timing is even more better and not using frames but milliseconds
otherwise it's lit
EDIT: FIXED OK SIG >Sad((

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know if the panels of the 20th anniversary cab are still extremely low like they were in JAEPO?
