I dont get why they've finalised the editor especially considering that enabling edits on a machine causes it to crash randomly *Happened in skegness twice!* Meaning they arent exactly playable...

They're trying to push E-Amuse in UK arcades, and no arcades are showing any interest. I don't imagine they'll just voluntarily unlock every machine, until they give up on the E-Amuse thing, because right now, the hidden songs are one of their only selling points.
Given the total absence of promotional material about e-Amusement at ATEI this year (as opposed to the previous two years when it had flyers etc.), I think it's safe to assume that e-Amusement probably isn't high on their list of priorities.
I think it's a shame. A cheap, EU/US/both/either-based network might have more joy in getting arcades to sign up just for the hell of it (but - to be fair - probably wouldn't).

The unlocks thing, most arcade operators will probably not understand or simply don't care about it. Unfortunately most arcade places in the UK are run by ignorant and "only in it for the money" type people with no respect for the players.
Seeing e-AMUSEMENT in the UK is just not possible with so little support for it from the arcade OPs.

I really have no use for the editor seeing as there are no DDR X machines in my area, and there will probably never be a DDR X machine in my area

I'm at a debate with using the editor tool.
Upside: I can create edits for songs which I was previously unable to access (Hello MARS WAR 3) and I found that there is a DDR X machine at an arcade I went to
Downside: I have no USB stick, item, thing with which to move the data to (unless KONAMI does it themselves with some magic Internet thing that isn't e-AMUSE). Even if I did, the difficulty level of the edits I want to make are wayyyyyyy tougher that I can play.
What should I do?

Looks like this has solved my edit problem, i havnt had a chance to test it in the arcades yet. But the Europe and US .dat files are different you cant load one into the other.
Ill head down this weekend and test out the edits on an EU machine.
Heres hoping
I know for a fact that my Sandisk Cruzer Mini 256MB is read by them.

It's too bad for us that "Paranoia max [Dirty mix] [In roulette] [X-special]" is not selectable on normal game play after unlocking all songs. A player needs to meet its conditions in order for it to be played. I hope this will be shown in the next edition of DDR.
Since all locked songs are already unlocked, I have a question. Regarding songs that turn RED on Final Stage, Extra Stage, and Encore Extra Stage, do they behave the same way as before they were unlocked?
【During Extra Stage → To get Encore Extra Stage】(DDRX songs)Since all locked songs are already unlocked, I have a question. Regarding songs that turn RED on Final Stage, Extra Stage, and Encore Extra Stage, do they behave the same way as before they were unlocked?
Condition 1:
SABER WING
SABER WING (Akira Ishihara Headshot mix)
As usual, difficulty "locked" for both SABER WINGs on their respective difficulty (It will stick to your Final Stage selected difficulty)
Obtain an "AA" or higher to get Encore Extra Stage.
Condition 2:
SABER WING
SABER WING (Akira Ishihara Headshot mix)
If your SABER WING (Akira Ishihara Headshot mix) is in this color. You could still get Encore Extra Stage by playing
SABER WING (Akira Ishihara Headshot mix), at any difficulty , as long as you obtain an "AA" or higher.
Your Encore Extra Stage difficulty (DDRX songs) will "locked" again (RED songs only, either on the bounce, or together with Trigger) sticking to your SABER WING (Akira Ishihara Headshot mix) difficulty.
【During Extra Stage → To get Encore Extra Stage】(1st MIX - EXTREME songs - For X-Specials)
Condition 1:
Example: on 2nd MIX
SP-TRIP MACHINE(JUNGLE MIX) (X-Special)
PARANOiA MAX (DIRTY MIX)(X-Special)
As usual, just play this red song, obtain an "AA" or higher.
Condition 2:
Example: on 2nd MIX
SP-TRIP MACHINE(JUNGLE MIX) (X-Special)
PARANOiA MAX (DIRTY MIX)(X-Special)
Since everything already unlocked, you could still get Encore Extra Stage even though the Extra Stage X-Special is in WHITE (tested & it works) as long as you obtain an "AA" or higher.
Condition 3: (For 2nd MIX only)
To get PARANOiA MAX~DIRTY MIX~in roulette(X-Special), just play SP-TRIP MACHINE(JUNGLE MIX) (X-Special) on Extra Stage, obtain an "AA" or higher.
Then on Encore Extra Stage, choose RANDOM.
Hope this helps

Yes, it will Thank you for your answer. How about the "X-special" songs? Do they turn RED on "Extra stage" and/or "Encore extra stage" if the player meets their conditions?

Since everything already unlocked (for Japan & Asian), we don't have to meet the requirement anymore (for the X-Specials to turn red)

Anyways, i've checked the PARANOiA MAX~DIRTY MIX~in roulette(X-Special) condition (on my previous post) it works

I don't understand why they didnt make an official edit chart for the Japan release. I hate using the PS2 to create edits. And they need to give more options than 4th, 8th, 12th and 16th.

Sorry if this sounds completely n00b, but how exactly do you unlock or access songs? Are they strictly (one more) Extra Stage or is there a way to play them normally?
We've got 2 of these machines in Ireland, both on Local, both on Double Premium (and both finally patched). It sucks not being able to play bonus songs.
