The guy in the banner of La Bamba from SN is Vicente Fernandez, a popular mexican singer.

Look at picture of of him. You see his face on the right and a sombrero on the left, it's actually two different parts of the same picture. You can just see the top of his head on the lower left of the banner.

The drum intro from INTO YOUR HEART, and Bass2Bass is actually a Vengeance Essential Club Sounds Vol2 Fills. I also found other samples that songs in Bemani used, even some vocal samples
Edit: I will keep updating since i'm finding more of them as i listen to them.
Songs that uses VEC2 Fills
Into Your Heart
Bass 2 Bass
Dream Machine
True♥Love Club Remix
Treasure x Star

The Essential Club Sound packs are so vanilla you're guaranteed to hear them somewhere. I heard the intro to Mermaid Girl in Vol.3. Not DDR, but moving on...

I remember there being a few DDR 2010/HP 4 charts like that as well, but I don't remember which ones.
Also, I think Dance Dance Revolution has the longest series of jumps on Beginner (like 8-9 in a row or something) but don't quote me on that.

some songs on EXTREME have charts on Oni and Heavy that are normally not available for play, although glitching has allowed players to access these songs in Nonstop and Oni.
The most well known ones are...
Last Message (Oni)
LOVE SHINE (Oni)
DAM DARIRAM (Oni)
Higher (Next Morning Mix) (Heavy)
DROP OUT (FROM NONSTOP MEGAMIX) (Heavy)
MY SUMMER LOVE (TOMMY'S SMILE MIX) (Heavy)

This has probably been posted before but on the Old Scale mainstream games (basically MAX2-SN2) the Beginner charts were ranked based on max BPM, not difficulty.
Any song with a max BPM of 179 or lower would have a beginner rank of 1, BPM between 180-259 would have beginner rank of 2, 259 to 399 would have a rank of 3, and 400+ would have a rank of 4. Keep in mind this is MAX BPM, so songs like Wild Rush & Insertion would have a rank of 2, even though the vast majority is slower than 180bpm.

This isn't entirely accurate; Chaos, despite having only a BPM of 170, was given a beginner rating of 4 in Supernova 1 and 2. However, it does ring true in DDR Extreme; scrolling speed was the only factor considered there in the difficulty of a beginner chart (since the method needed to play the chart was shown on screen as well, making any technique nullifiable)

You so got this info from me. Well maybe not from me but yeah. Its been very well known since like 2003. I have known about it since like 2006ish when people were telling me how hard Love Shine oni was. Although I know it very well, I suck at getting the glitch to work on my machine. I once made Gameworks machine crash for loading one of the non-existing charts by doing the glitch though.

I only saw Love Shine
in beware's DDR EX Simulator. I thought it was simply something that they forgot to take out for release.
How exactly did you go about getting this stuff to happen?

The glitch is kinda a pain to trigger. I tried it myself on a theater back when they still had a DDR Extreme and it took me about 10 tries before I got it right. OFF TOPIC: Kon are you planning on doing the glitch to get more AAAs?

You have to select a course to play, then very quickly select the one next to it and then go back and select your original course. This tricks the machine into using the adjacent course's difficulties, leading to things like the hilarious Last Message Post #760 · Posted at 2011-10-17 08:26:59am 14 years ago

I guess you can say I got lucky or have really fast reflexes. I just saw some people doing it one day then I studied how they got it to glitch. Again, its really hard to do. But some charts are pretty good on the oni glitch, Dam Dariram Doubles, Love Shine ~Oni~, ect. But lets not all forgot about Last Messages Oni chart and Blue Impulse's steps for doubles wait *ahem* Step.
