There's reports of the game freezing up when saving your game while being outside in Lumiose City. The only solution to this is starting a new game. No word if this is legit or not but just watch out in case it's legit.

so don't save while in Lumiose City. Got it.

It should be noted that this bug is only in digital copies. Game cards are fortunately ok.

A couple people on GameFAQs said their physical copies were glitched, too.
I am in love with Slurpuff/Swirlix. I just wish it didn't drop like a fly and that mine knew some useful moves. xP I want a fairy type on my team but not sure which one would be the most useful. Avoiding the Eevee one just... to be a hipster, not gonna lie.

Flabebe makes for a good support Fairy. Learns Wish, Lucky Chant, and Grassy Terrain, which restores HP for everyone touching the ground for five turns. It also learns Magical Leaf.

Its a good thing that I make it a habit to save while in the Pokémon Centers. I just had a major heart attack when I found out that Exp. Share works on the entire team! Normally you would have a Pokémon hold that item and then give it to another Pokémon when you feel that the other Pokémon earned enough w/o getting too powerful where you don't have enough badges to control said Pokémon.

I actually managed to find (and catch) a shiny Zangoose on Route 8. Gotta love those horde encounters. Those probably increase the chance of finding shinies too, since you're encountering more than one of the same Pokemon at once.

So can Pangoro, evidently. I wasn't expecting it to learn Surf.

Just as a heads up, if anybody gets to Route 8 and encounters a little cuttlefish-like Pokemon called Inkay, exercise extreme caution. That little Pokemon is REALLY powerful, and strange...

Maybe it's just a good swimmer?

Thanks for the warning. I'm still in the big city anyway, eventually I'll get my butt in gear.

I actually caught one.
Evolving him to Malamar is an interesting experience, holding the 3DS upside down.
Topsy-Turvy and him having Contrary is metagame-breaking.

My friends and I tip a lot, I found a shiny Quagsire while my friend encountered 2 shinies already. A couple of people conjectured this.
Also who knew Heliolisk could learn Surf lol, I didn't expect an electric frilled lizard to learn any water-type move.

My guess is that it's an homage to the lizard that can run on water. I forget its name though.
I look forward to Gen VII's lizard that can shoot blood lasers out of its eyes.

If you have any Pokemon who cannot withstand strong physical attacks and/or Dark type attacks, keep them away from Inkay. I'm doing a Nuzlocke Run on Pokemon X, and losing my Snorlax to that Inkay was just straight-up disturbing, and annoying. Imagine if it was my Kadabra I had sent out against Inkay...

It was Foul Play. And, I wish I wasn't being literal about that just now,
