paranoia respect is a boss song too for party collection, and HVAM wasnt a boss song like everyone likes to think. it was a 6th mix song that we got a preview of on 5th mix CS. leading cyber has potential to be hard, but there are harder 4th mix(+) songs so i wouldnt call it a boss.

Difficult and boss don't completely overlap. Saber Wing isn't a boss song, whereas On the Break is, even though they're the same difficulty.

Candy* and Kakumei are boss songs simply due to their OMES status.

As for UM/UNI songs, pretty much any 10 could be called a boss song since they make no distinction.

Actually, JP X has SABER WING once again in boss status; it's an EXTRA STAGE.

PARANOiA MAX (DIRTY MIX) ~SMM Special~ is insanely fun.

They have not been given out yet. They'll be given out on March 1st.

I'm extremely surprised Venus didn't get revived on X JP, because it got a new Challenge chart on X US.

I can't wait to play the revivals though. I thought at first that paranoias and trip machines would be boring revivals, and then I remembered that they're freaking amazing. And having them all plus Paranoia Respect is better than Extreme, because Max. is not fun for me on a soft pad, even on light/standard.

Oh, ok. Also what does SMM stand for? STREET MASTER MODE?

while X CS have
PARANOiA MAX(DIRTY MIX) (SMM Special)
and and SP-Trip Machine -Jungle Mix- (SMM Special)

SEXY PLANET *was* a boss song! On one of the early Dancing Stage games (TKD, IIRC?), it was the PARANOiA equivalent. And LTF was a final-stage-only on 2nd Mix, much like the PARANOiAs, except it was always featured, once unlocked. So that one? Boss song, too. (Plus in conjunction with the other TRIP MACHINEs and HVAM, that's a LOT of dizzy-spinning!)

I'm kinda surprized there -wasn't- any MAX 300 or Fascination stages! And it looks like the only boss-worthy stages we're missing out on are the X-Specials (which look WAY hella fun!).

But why is PARA -Respect- featured in JP mixes TWICE, before ever reaching a USA mix even ONCE?! WTH is with that? ;.;


EDIT: Konami has finally done it! Koko Soko > butterfly. That stepchart, and the song's upbeat tone is EXACTLY the kind of successor that should've happened all along.

Well, PARA -Respect- and MAXIMIZER, while console boss stages, are featured in Arcade Mixes. MAX. (period), for example, is not. And for some reason, with the exception of the latter (?), they seem to be withholding the MAX 300 series of stages, in this selection. Curious...
