I'm gonna guess from the title neko*neko that the vocalist has a very high voice that sounds like a small child, and based off of the artist and previous work I wanted to assume that this is really uptempo and popish, but instead i'll say it's jazzy or big band. I just can't bring myself to listen to this.

I'm pointlessly bothered by games that make their money pulling in one-time players with trendy songs rather than introducing their own soundtrack with a quality game. But it's what sells... unfortunately. Guessing even more so in arcades where people impulse play when they hear Frozen's song for the 10000000th time. Egh. Memories of some Taiko game on loop when I was trying to play DDR...

I think Pop'n has done that with anime songs a little, though I don't know if that really gives it an edge over other Bemani games. Sounds like DDR is jumping on the pop song bandwagon, I guess. It's less of Konami's fault and more of the potential consumers for having bad taste in rhythm game music. *bricked*
