Ah, okay, just looked at the lawsuit again.
Konami asserted that RoXoR was instructing customers to reinstall its product into already existing DDR machines, despite some parts of the machine still displaying the "Konami" or DDR logo after the installation, thus leading customers/consumers to believe that that particular game was associated with Konami.
Maybe that's what I was thinking of.

If only they'd packaged a complete decal set/skin for the upgrade cabs. Then we'd have ITG4, hurrrr
But seriously ITG discussion, what? Wrong thread.

I would not say that was the only reason. I would say that Roxor was trying to work that in in a legal way and because of the suit they basically dumped their whole hand on the table and said "Fuck it".
The lawsuit revolved around RoXoR's use of old KONAMI machines and putting ITG BoXoRs inside, and rebranding KONAMI's machine as RoXoR's. This is a clear violation of KONAMI's IP. ITG2 wasn't really an issue since it had a fine dedicab.
I feel like there was also something to do with RoXoR calling up arcades and explicitly labeling ITG as the next version of Dance Dance Revolution, but I may be mistaken.
The big deal was RoXoR's distributor finding arcades which had DDR cabinets in them, calling them up, and telling them that they were selling "The newest version of Dance Dance Revolution", then pressuring them to "upgrade" their cabinets to this new version.
The stuff about design elements and intellectual property is pretty minor in comparison to that

Xmix4 (Linear Momentum) AAA/PFC
Trip Machine Climax (X-Special) AAA/PFC
I passed Boss rush on Normal with a video but i thought it was a bad score so I'll wait till next time. Difficult might be possible for me, at least until final stage. 513 might be able to do it.

Boss Rush X seems at least a lot more doable than Boss Rush SN2

On-Topic: So Konami of America has apparently, NO PLANS to give out DDR X upgrade kits...
...yup, it's official, DDR X AC is the final nail in the coffin for the US/EU DDR AC series...
...at least we got DDR for the PS3/360 won't dissapoint

Although i REALLY hope it's just a rumor, but it likely seems not...which sucks =(.

I wonder if they'll have their Extra Stage effect, where they won't fail you but will take away battery life.
This effect was fixed for more than 2 months ago.

Unfortunatly I made 2 edits for SM/ITG.

Hero (8,5 feet, old scale) and Flight of the phoenix (10 feet, old scale). This 2 songs are good but the charts are just ewwwww >.<.
I don't want to use editor who not allow 32th or things like that omg.
I will made a video of this 2 charts on an ITG machine. Maybe in 5/6 months so

I really hope this pad/lag problem will be fixed. It's our only hope.
Or so, we just have to wait the NEXT ddr arcade -_-

seriously, they picked a bad time to force everyone to get a new cab. If ever there were a time to do it, it would have been during the Supernova phase. Now we're going to end up with a crap load of Extremes and Supernova's (for some odd reason, SN2's are so comparatively rare. pft) and a handful of DDR X's with crappy pads. Bleh.

I have seriously lost have all faith in Konami/Bemani. Maybe I'm overreacting but forcing people to buy a piece of shit machine and not having the option of using upgrade kits is a really terrible idea.
Though if they're not going to distribute upgrade kits, then why did they bother testing it on the machine at Jersey Gardens?

5 零 - ZERO -/TERRA
6 SUNKiSS DROP/jun with Alison
7 SABER WING(AKIRA ISHIHARA Headshot mix)/TAG
8 SUPER SAMURAI/jun
9 華爛漫 -Flowers-/TERRA
10 MAX 300/Ω
11 Butterfly(2008 X-edit)/SMILE.dk
12 Pluto Relinquish/2MB
13A Geisha’s Dream/NAOKI feat.SMiLE.dk
14Xepher/Tatsh
15 Trickster/水樹奈々
16 DoLL/TERRA
17 Horatio/OR-IF-IS
18 Blue Rain/dj TAKA VS Ryu☆
19 TRUE LOVE/jun feat. Schanita
20 DUB-I-DUB(2008 X-edit)/ME&MY
21 Blind Justice ~Torn souls, Hurt Faiths ~/Zektbach
22 Boys(2008 X-edit)/SMILE.dk
23 ポリリズム/Pink Lemonade
24 DYNAMITE RAVE("AIR" Special)/NAOKI
25 Fascination MAXX/100-200-400
26 Koko Soko/SMILE.dk
27 Pluto/Black∞Hole
28 CHAOS/DE-SIRE retunes
29 Ubertreffen/TAKA respect for J.S.B.
30 チカラ/BeForU
Not much to say here. Nadeshiko Rock tops out for the second month in a row, even beating out Final/Extra stage songs. Japan really does love that song, I have to say. Doesn't seem to matter what game you put it in...
Besides that, all your usual suspects are here. SMiLE.dk, jun, and TERRA are all still popular with players as one might expect. Aside from Super Samurai, none of the Wii crossovers appear to have an amazing amount of popularity. They have all appeared in the top 30 rankings at one point, but have not stayed there for very long. The one exception might be will, which was in the ranking for several months when the game was first released.
Finally, as one might expect, few of the commissioned songs from X seem to be very popular.
