Well it looks like 9 footer are going throw in evolution. My problem with that is now there's a big gap between 8-9. instead of 9-10.Annoyed

goemon4: Thanks, I'm glad my effort was worth something then.
Maybe I should get a simfile category, haha.

I still think Arrabbiata and the special stages should be 10s, though that's assuming we'd be getting a bigger scale/rating system in the next mix. Otherwise, I do appreciate them distinguishing between NGOH/PHH and their oni charts.
Play my game Arcana Seal of Rimsala (SNES)!

I have a question. If my arcade get e-Amuse today, do you get the 2 unlocks right there or is it still have to be played for so long?

Nooo!!!! They are starting the unlock list where Japan first started! So it means Pluto Relinquish will first be unlocked on July 16th 2008 if the first unlock was on the 24th (i'm not sure if it's the right date when the first unlock was for the US so please correct me).

Backing up to an earlier conversation, I found out what Monkey Bizness was today =p
They hadn't finished it the last time I was around GZ. (It's a playground for kids across the walkway from GZ)

That r23 machine is still amazing, and the NX2's pads felt great (compared to my EX2's where the screws all stick up and make noise and the maintenance guy still hasn't put all of the pad supports onto the ground). One of my rounds had Arrabbiata standard, which was more draining than most of the 9's I played (Da Roots!).

It was just so much fun to play the Ultramix stuff like Disabled the Flaw there... I hope we see more of those in future arcade mixes.
Play my game Arcana Seal of Rimsala (SNES)!

Agh, so it seems that AI won't be getting e-AMUSE. I've already asked the owner and he says it's too expensive at $100 a month. D:

That means no extra unlocks for SN2, GFDMv4 soon to become v5, and DJTROOPERS. Unless they come out with upgrade kits for them and that's looking quite unlikely for v4 since v5 is coming out. SN2 and TROOPERS still do have a chance.

I don't see SN2 getting an upgrade kit, Think about it. The only way to get unlocks is to play 100$ a month, That = more money. That's smart marketing on Konami's side.;) but It's bad for us.

How much is an e-Amuse card? I herd in another website it's 10$.

Hmmmm... well there may be an upgrade kit for SN2 because from the owner I heard that there are upgrade kits for IIDX. So, maybe SN2 has an upgrade kit too.

New question. Do you have to buy an e-amuse card to play the hidden songs?

I believe that only applies to the e-AMUSE online songs (groover radar specials ), characters, noteskins, speed mods, Jun Challenge course, and the Midtown Nonstop course. All other songs such as Sunkiss Drop and Moonster (examples) are unlocked via the e-AMUSEMENT for regular play without the use of the e-AMUSEMENT card onto the machine.

tell me next time you are going to be there. I will be there Sunday, since its my birthday, and I am bringing sonme friends. They are not huge fans of DDR, but fuck its my birthday so they will just have to live threw it.

Also Pump It Up PRO was moved to the new Brunzwick Zone in what I think is located in Waukegen (thats Brunzwick Zone is not open yet however). This is what Ryan told me last time I saw him.

I forgot to mention, he was taking pictures of everyone last Saturday to show how popular e-amuse was, and is sending the pictures to KONAMI. It was really crowded (as in a half an hour wait to play SN2), so I think KONAMI will be very happy to see how popular e-amuse is already, along with SuperNOVA 2.

Ryan also said no one has said other bemani games will not come out, and there is still a chance the games will be released in America.

...In Brunswick Zone. Not to be an ass or something, but e-amuse would fail in large arcades where no one really cares about DDR except for a few members who probably aren't hardcore enough to cover those $100/month for e-amuse PLUS the rest of the $ needed for "normal" machine earnings. Upgrade disks would have been better since there's no big loss even if no one plays the game at such location, yet it ensures that everyone can enjoy all the content in the game. Let's just hope Konami will stop this releasing of un-unlockeable games nonsense with the next DDR.

I see that there are a few Gameworks that have SN2. I'm going to my Gameworks today, so when I get back, I'll tell you if they have it.

Well, at 100$ a month, I don't think our arcade would get e-amuse. Too much is going to be missing, even IF they get SN2. I have an extensive list of reasons why I've stopped going to the arcade more than once every week or two now also, and there are only 3 or 4 other devoted players in the area, so the cost of e-amuse wouldn't be covered.

Meh, I'll stick to home DDR until SN3. Cry

And about Trim: the best score I ever got on it (StepMania) was with the mods Flat and Dark simultaneously. Laughing Out Loud

you guys are acting like $100 a month is impossible to pay. I had gamefly and it was $45 a month, and at age 16 I could afford that, and I am sure many arcades could afford $100 a month, I mean its their own business, of course they can make enough money to cover that cost, no problem!
