Hmm.......interesting.
I wish Freeway Shuffle could have that first edit as a Challenge chart, and have Raspberry Heart replaced by this edit.
But I still like the original Sunkiss Drop better

Yup.
I love that chart. Even if it is the most repetitive chart in DDR history, it makes crossovers fun.

Do does that mean that won't ever get those songs Senorita, Faint, and many others, What is the point of adding them to the arcade when you aren't going to put them in the real DDR for consoles. |
I find this funny because I used to consider the arcade versions the "real" DDR and the consoles, especially the U.S. versions, sort of wannabes.
Licensed songs seem to disappear all the time, and I always assumed it was simply because of licensing "issues." I always assumed this is why we never saw "Flash in the Night," "Follow Me" and "Telephone Operator" between DDRMAX and DDRMAX2 at the arcade. (Although "Telephone Operator" reappeared for Extreme.) But I never thought it was any attempt on Konami's part to, say, deliberately withhold home players from the joys of DDRing to Janet Jackson.

I'll third that, the crossovers in the chart really characterize the chart nicely

No, it was said last page that there are "prized" alternate steps for Freeway Shuffle, Sunkiss Drop and Raspberry Heart for 100% completing HMM mode on singles or doubles.

The description of the video said that you had to use the Prize and Expert custom modules to get them.
I wonder if that means there are some hidden charts in SN2 NA CS as well?

There should be ... but it's much harder to get 100% in the US version. I hate bag on 1x.

Y'know what's funny? I can't pass Bag on x1, but I did better when I set it to the Tiny noteskin, turned off the bg, and used the skinning module. I also used the controller and sat close to the screen though.

You know what's amazing? Back at the beginning of November, I went to a DDR tournament, and one of my friends, Mike (aka Phone), picked that song during one of his first rounds. So before he started, he asked the guy he was playing with to hold hands during the song for lulz (afaik, he's not gay...). So yeah, he ended up AAA-ing it with hand-holding mod... during a tournament... with a guy he doesn't even know... AMAZING.
Anyway, I finally got a copy of SN2 JP, and it's definitely pretty cool, although unlocking stuff in HMM seems a LOT harder than US

Well it was in a UM song pack... Let's keep our fingers crossed for more crossovers from there and hope they include that ;)

Those PRIZE step charts are quite well done. They remind me of KDEA step charts. =P
Whoever did them should be on board for the next arcade mix. And make sure to get the CaptivAte ~CHIKAI~ guy back.
This makes me want to go back and try PRIZE-ing it up on SuperNOVA2 US. Then again, the purpose of PRIZE this time was found pretty fast, and I'm sure someone would have stumbled upon this in the US version if it existed.
