So it's someone really old and washed out by now (just like NAOKI). Maybe the only member left from Milli Vanilli will come out of retirement. . . They had a big hid back in the day, even won a Grammy. . . for a while.

No he didn't, he simply said he was creating a couple of collab songs for "upcoming music games". We already know at least one collab song will be in DDR II as Konami has advertised it containing collabs with "historically famous musicians".
And I would bet that all these collabs will be in DDR at some point. It really wouldn't make sense to put a collab with a famous US/UK musicians in any of the other BEMANI games, as none of them are even officially released in the US/UK. There is always that "downloadable" music game he was talking about, but that may have been cancelled after the poor sales of Dance Masters/Dance Evolution.

Pretty much. Dance Masters/Dance Evolution were among the lowest selling Kinect games in the US/UK due to heavy competition from Dance Central, which featured lots of licensed and familiar tracks rather than unknown music.
Dance Evolution was the best selling Kinect game in Japan, however, given the fact that pretty much no one in Japan has an Xbox, it didn't amount to much of a victory. However, it does show that the Japanese public may be receptive to the game itself, so there have been discussions of trying to create an arcade port of the game, but so far there have been no announcements on that.
Anyways, let's keep this thread on DDR II.
