DDR X3 VS 2ndMIX (AC) (Japan)

I think I can safely say we -won't- be getting Money on the 2ndMix mode, since it was only present in the "touring" demo version of DDR and its steps were essentially the basis for Make it Better's.

As for the other 1stMix licenses, I can see all returning -save for- Strictly Business, for well-known reasons. However, Konami may surprise us even there...

I wonder if they struck up another deal with EMI? Because re-licensing 2ndMIX, in addition to new licenses for X3, seems pretty intense. But then again, Dancemania is so old those licenses are probably really cheap these days anyway.

Are we seriously expecting them to have the entire DDR 2nd Mix game boot up from within the X3 software, in an emulator shell? Because EZ2DJ did that once, and it was absolutely unplayable.

Surely the 2nd Mix elements are going to be present as part of the game, and not a seperate "game within a game"?

I'm kinda thinking that 2nd Mix Mode and DDR X3 mode will replace the selection of Happy Mode and Pro Mode. At least that's what it looks like to me.

I don't see Konami making such an obvious mistake as emulating the old 573 Analog game on an HD display. Everyone remember that this is a JAPANESE release and a certain expectation of quality is present. The question is are they just giving us the soundtrack in a folder or are they doing a whole theme made up to feel like 2ndMIX? Also, would the songs that were in 2ndReMIX and LINK VERSiON make the cut? Maybe... And the club versions? Probably not (unless it's just the collection that's already been repeated in other DDR games).

All we need now is for Lincle to be Lincle VS IIDX substream and we can connect the machines again. :3

If 2nd mix is going to be done by e-Amuse, then how is this going to work outside Japan?

i just hope KONAMI will release World Wide unlock codes
for this one as well as 2ndmix mode available offline.

I can imagine if DDR X1 hadn't had the ability to enter unlock codes,
I can say that's the worst DDR AC release ever.

You mean the "Remember 1st?" mode in EZ2DJ 6th Trax?

You're totally wrong. EZ2DJ 1st was included entirely in its original form.
What the mode did was just loading 1st trax and switching to it. Then, once you were done, it closed the game and switched back to 6th Trax.

It's a sign that they plan on giving the US and everywhere else e-Amuse access.
