yeah the steps are pretty good... i just expect a better songlits in DDR X2 , now all my hopes are put in Arcade X... if the charts are so good i expect more X-specials and maybe some new song, sorry for the overreacting. Surprised

Wow, looks like I was right on the dot when I predicted that all the DDR's Boss Songs or Boss Song equivalents would have X-Specials. Well, okay, that wasn't too hard to figure out, really.

Then again, this master songlist having songs that don't exist anymore has me thinking...

I would have preferred X-Specials for other songs rather than nearly all being Trip Machines, Paranoias and Maxes. Leading Cyber could have an evil one or maybe HVAM. But I see where they went. The boss songs for each mix and, if they exist, the Encore Stage songs.

Is it even possible to add gimmicks into a song like that? I'd imagine them cutting down the speed at certain points, but it's questionable.

Umm, I think they're considered boss songs too.

I don't think they add gimmicks to X-specials, at least they didn't with the first two. X-specials are different than SMM specials.

And on that note, holy crap at all the X-specials.

If I'm not mistaken, all Paranoias and Trip Machines are considered boss songs in their respective mix, but I don't think HVAM or Leading Cyber are considered boss songs, even though they are tough (like Cartoon Heroes is really hard, but it's not a boss song)

Exactly (I've said these kinds of things plenty of times before). Even for Respect and MAX 300 SMMM (well, for SN US, it was a Boss Song, but it was featured before that too).

I think they're only considering arcade bosses, though.

Er, I thought you were saying Leading Cyber and HVAM were boss songs too, because i thought I implied that the current list of X-Specials were only for boss songs for each mix and that I think they should have used other songs instead, such as LC and HVAM.

I had a feeling there was an error on my part, I meant the Encore Extra Stages are boss songs too.

The master list contains codes for every song that has been in DDR or was planned to be, but never made it. It can often be used to see what songs are hidden or may appear in the future. Example, Faint appeared in DDR SN's master list and appeared in SN2.

Yeah, it would be pretty sweet if for the last mix Konami ever does for the AC they get all the old licenses, every cs version and bring back every old DDR song for a huge master song list.

Interesting, if not entirely unexpected, I hope the steps are up to the usual quality of X.

"BEEJAY REVEL A"
You know I just watched the video of the entire DDR X Japan CS songlist and that was along the lines of what I wished the US CS would be like.
I find the songlist slightly ironically weird because on my PC I made a songlist of what DDR X US CS should of been on stepmania and the weird things were: i put like 3 paranoia songs and 3 trip machine songs, I also had a simfile called Blue Rain in the list, and I had the simfiles Healing Vision ~Angelic Mix~ and La Senorita Virtual too. And this was all before I knew about the songlist!!!

With the revivals, has anyone noticed how out of place Love This Feelin' and Sexy Planet are? If you take out those two songs, you have revival of boss songs and 2MB's stuff. What's up with these two?
